Actually, it wasn't so heavenly. Kids in the picture are bare footed, and there was a spate of murders and violence around then relating to property ownership and religion.

Oh wow. That's incredible. There's only minor changes here, most of the history is preserved. I wish I could speak the same for Glendale. Yes we have historical landmarks but they have been altered or remodeled in someway. My middle school looks like shit right now compared back to it's prime, it got remolded in the 50s and then remodeled again in the 90s and early 2000s. I would have actually loved to witness that bell tower in action in the photo I posted. Fuckers HAD to get rid of that. -_- Anyway, incredible photo. Looks like heaven in the old photograph for me.
