I read all my Grimmoire Cards recently. First of all, why aren't they viewable in-game? And some of them are written pretty well. Have a nice story to them.
I am Pujari. These are the visions I have had of the Black Garden.
The Traveler moved across the face of the iron world. It opened the earth and stitched shut the sky. It made life possible. In these things there is always symmetry. Do you understand? This is not the beginning but it is the reason.
The Garden grows in both directions. It grows into tomorrow and yesterday. The red flowers bloom forever.
There are gardeners now. They came into the garden in vessels of bronze and they move through the groves in rivers of thought.
This is the vision I had when I leapt from the Shores of Time and let myself sink:
I walked beneath the blossoms. The light came from ahead and the shadows of the flowers were words. They said things but I will not write them here.
At the end of the path grew a flower in the shape of a Ghost. I reached out to pluck it and it cut me with a thorn. I bled and the blood was Light.
The Ghost said to me: You are a dead thing made by a dead power in the shape of the dead. All you will ever do is kill. You do not belong here. This is a place of life.
The Traveler is life, I said. You are a creature of Darkness. You seek to deceive me.
But I looked behind me, down the long slope where the blossoms tumbled in the warm wind and the great trees wept sap like blood or wine, and I felt doubt.
When my Ghost raised me from the sea there was a thorn-cut in my left hand and it has not healed since.
I like that one. If they can think up this, then why can't they make a story? I just don't understand. Bungie just doesn't make story I guess. I swear, Halo 3 had no story. Until the end at least, I barely remember anything before the cutscene with The Prophet killing Johnson and stuff.
Yeah I'm not going to leave the game just to read it's supposed story. It's stupid. That shit should have been in the game.
Also.....
None of those are even story. It's just lore. Everything you read there, happened before Destiny.

You know how Cheat can pretty much change the appearance of a member to look like they are a moderator or admin?
I mean we've seen it done with RC and True before, but I just realized something. Do you think it's possible for him to assign someone as a mod, but they don't give the person the flair? Like, they can look like a regular member and still have access to the tools.

I've always thought that'd be a good idea, especially on a site like this with cults of personality around certain moderators. I fully support it if it's being done. One might think that we need such things, but there are watchers always, hiding, lurking among us.
There is no need for hidden power.
There are councils within Sep7agon, those who watch, those who report, people who act of their own vigilance, and people who act in their own self interest. Information flows between those with power and those without, and intelligence is the weapon that makes it all possible.
We don't need false mods, all we really need are good connections.
