Gaming / Re: Halo 3 1v1: Deci vs Chally (Theater Mode Versions out now)
« on: August 16, 2015, 07:14:10 PM »
Deci, why'd you even do it?
They way he put it, it's like he was trying to stand up for himself. I don't see how that works over a game of Halo.
which is hilarious because if deci had won, you know he would've laid it on REAL thick

but he lost, so of course he's like, "it's just a game, i don't care"

Even if I won, it's just a game. Why would I gloat about it? I'm not a sore winner.

Okay so a few things.

Stream came out fucked as far as audio goes. I'll have to look into that in the future. So I'm audio swapping that.

As for the match, I lost. Challenger beat me and beat me good. I never admitted that I was good at Halo multiplayer, in fact I've admitted the opposite many times that I'm fucking horrible at the game, especially if challenger didn't try, that just shows my skills are shit.

I've never been good at video games anyway.

But if you guys want to gloat about how I got my ass handed to me, go ahead. I mean, I kinda brought this upon myself. Honestly I was getting tired of Challenger talking shit about me all the time in the chat that I challenged him a 1v1, and as I expected he beat me.

That's all there is too it. If you guys are going to make fun of me because I lost in Halo, hate to disappoint you but that's not going to bother me. It's just a game. Doesn't make anyone better or worse for who they are.

Oh and until the edits are done, I'm gonna temp put it on Private.

Well yeah, only so much you can do. And I wouldn't either.

Bungie made armor lock

It got (and is) too influenced by CoD.

Actually.... funny story about that... One guy in Bungie made Armor Lock. Bungie just happened to like the idea. Luke Smith. He created it, and he's the cancer that has destroyed Bungie today.

Halo 3 isn't a good looking game

Neither is that MGS game as your avatar. It's hardly 3D.

what's right with the original trilogy

I'm sorry but your say doesn't matter here since you passionately hate everything about the franchise to begin with.

You're pretty much the only person here who says Halo is a bad game. No one else here shares your opinion.
Halo is completely mediocre. It was revolutionary in the way that it was so simplified and skeletal mechanically that it could work using a console controller instead of a keyboard and mouse. Besides that one feat, every other gameplay "innovation" past that can be credited to Call of Duty, which is much more influential (but no less mediocre) than Halo on today's FPS games.

If you're going to throw theater mode in that argument, Halo got there first.
Which has only been used in a couple of Call of Duty games outside of Halo. Wouldn't call it influential. Actually, all it really did was take something that was already done (recording games), except make it available in game instead of externally. With the introduction of the share buttons on consoles, there's even less of a need for it (Although it's been brought back again by BO3, admittedly).

Bleh.

I bought mine to fly aeroplanes into LC.
Huh?
It's face value.

I bought my xbone to crash aircraft into LC. So far he has either eluded my jihads or survived them, but someday it will work <_<

Spoiler
Obviously I bought it for more than just that reason, but that was a notable part of the impulse buy. Mashallah.

If you wanna stop LC you gotta think like Sam Fisher. Pdos his hardware, that will teach him.
Nah, that's not the objective.

This may give you a better idea, it's also the reason why I blow myself up when taking out a tank rather than just sticking the C4 and legging it.

Oh my god Psy is a fucking terrorist.

You get to watch TV on your gaming console.

Do I need a cable provider for that or does internet work alone work?

The fact Halo 3 still looks as good as it does now really shows what a good job Bungie did.

Shame 343 ruined the aesthetics of Halo

To be honest I wouldn't trust Bungie with Halo right now. I'm just glad that 343 didn't alter the appearance and just gave it the 60 FPS tweak that was long over due, and flames. Even the animations are in 60FPS for all 4 games, while on Halo PC or Custom Edition, the animations are sadly capped at 30, making the game look choppy.
