Septagon / Re: is this website ever going to get https

That costs extra, so...

Not likely.

What about the sign in page? If that isn't secure, I'd image it would be easy for someone to hack your account no?
If you're not on a secure LAN, yeah, they could get your password.

You do realize it is possible to crack someone's router password right? Oh, and there is nothing stopping everyone from sending reset emails to users because you can just enter the username of the user, Lol.

I'll prove it to you right now by using you as an example. That kind of shit should be email only honestly.

Edit: You should get an email now requesting you to reset your password. See what I mean?
Uh, ok? The passwords are hashed and cannot be read or decrypted unless you used a really short word without numbers or special characters that has that particular hash indexed.

Really, if your password isn't stupidly simple, the only way you're going to run into trouble is if your connection is compromised (password-free wi-fi would be the most vulnerable).

Okay so say I was on password free WiFi, how would someone get my Sep7agon password?
The http request when you enter in your password. It's plain-text at that point, so a dickbag could be listening in and intercept the password field you submitted before it's hashed and then compared to the saved password hash.

Interesting. How do dickbags do that exactly? CMD? A hacktool?

To be clear: the rule is that avatars and nameplates must be safe for work.

Don't Be Nervous Talking to Girls.

Seriously fuck that game, if you can even call it that. Tried doing a let's play of it awhile back, I was too mad to continue. Not sure if I'll try again.

10447
How does that make you poor?

I dunno. That's why I posted this article here to see if people could possibly explain this guy.

I mean hurr durr. I still have my original Xbox, I must be dirt poor.

This place isn't going to die without you. People just like to start gossip.
Except nobody is gossiping.
Brute literally said he's the reason this place has people here.

He believed that his channel bought people here when in actuality Jester's great posting brought people here

Ummm. That totally is what brought people here, that's for sure. Lol.
You guys are too kind

Deez Nuts!

Gaming / Re: Are any of you interested in Halo Online?
« on: August 25, 2015, 03:52:59 PM »
I installed an offline build before. I would have installed the online version, but I don't want to take a risk in getting my gamertag banned if I have to use that to play online.
What?
It doesn't use xbox live at all.
You literally set your name in a ingame menu.

Oh, then in that case I'll try to get the online modded build.

If that's all it is then why I have a track record for it?

you're pretty silly if you think owning a console determines whether you're poor or not

I agree with you.

By the way, getting an Xbox One in less than 2 months.

Spoiler

You should find a bunch of nazi kitten pictures and do them

Good job. I wouldn't have done it any differently.
Thanks, I missed making the bit of hair yellow or brown, so it's green =/

Oh. It is? I didn't even notice, I thought that was part of his hat.

Hmmmm.

If you want I can colorize it myself later.

Septagon / Re: Dislike button
« on: August 25, 2015, 02:47:53 PM »
I feel like a dislike button would just become an abuse problem and someone would get butthurt.

That wasn't the case on Revolt though, but then again some people bitched about wanted it removed lol.

I should make a script for it on this site, but I would need backend code access.

Because this isn't Reddit?

Oh so is this Facebook? I'm sorry, I thought I deleted my account from Facebook.

Seriously, if there is no dislike button, why have a like button at all?
It's mostly to stop people from quoting someone and adding nothing afterward, conveying "hey, I agree with this person and want people to know, but don't want to say anything else."

It's saving post space.

If that's all it is then why I have a track record for it?

And if it is rolled infinite times, each side will eventually show up, possibly more than once depending on the outcome.
Each side will show up infinite times

Yep.

Are you a masochist by chance?

Nah, it's just a fair question really. I really wouldn't care if my posts got dislikes anyway, but at least I would know people's honest opinions.

Got to leave it to challenger to shit up a thread for literally no reason

He does that a lot. He even believes that our people hide food in our unibrows. Defies all logic.

The Flood / Re: An infinite-sided die is rollled infinite times
« on: August 25, 2015, 02:26:36 PM »
It's all based on chance really. There is a chance that each side will show up once or twice or only half shows up twice and the other half doesn't within each roll. And if it is rolled infinite times, each side will eventually show up, possibly more than once depending on the outcome.

Hey, at least I don't see people writing on segways.

Also, the disabled need the elevator. Ever thought of that? If it's just me alone going somewhere, unless my legs are broken, I'll take the stairs.
