Original Star Wars movies (unaltered trilogy)

My nigga

Yeah I hated the alterations Lucas made. I preferred the original elements untouched. Some changes I didn't mind, but when you replace objects that conflict with the story or add what was supposed to be a deleted scene and digitize Jabba and reveal him early, it ruins the movie.

Agreed. One thing I dislike but no one else seems to mind is the change to Fett's voice. His original voice is much more menacing and the voice acting is of a higher quality IMO.

Totally. The voice actor was also never credited, and he was actually in season 1 of The Twilight Zone as the train conductor.
He was in The Twilight Zone? Awesome, I'll have to check that out. Thanks!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Stop_at_Willoughby

Look for Jason Wingreen. In episode 5, he was the uncredited voice of Boba Fett.

Replacing the voice was the change that pissed me off the most, Unaltered clone my ass, the prequels do not count.

I never liked Jano Fett's voice anyway, and it sucks because that's the guy who replaces Boba's voice.

You're ok when you're not pity-fishing like a white girl on facebook....or playing Halo 3

Well, that's the last time I'm ever gonna 1v1 Chally.

I like playing Halo 3, let alone all the other Halo games. So what if I'm bad? I never said I was good at it. My K/D has ALWAYS sucked.

I mean I went positive in some games and carried a team before, but most of the time I'm a bk.

Oh, and I deleted my Facebook months ago.

You take this place way too seriously, and have this complex that everyone's out to get you. As a person, you're cool enough, but this gets in the way of making me legitimately like you.

I understand.

You don't seem to know who you want to be. Sometimes you come off as narcissistic, self-deprecating, overly-defensive, or overly-apologetic. I get the impression that you don't have much of a positive view of yourself and need the approval of others to legitamize yourself, which would explain why you have a tendency to lose your temper over slights; both real and imagined and leave, yet inevitably return after a month or so. I honestly think you need to see a therapist.

That's not really going to help me to be honest, Ushan.

Why do you think that?

Because I've had therapy for years as a child, and when I finally got out of it, yes it has improved my social skills in some ways, but it hasn't changed me entirely. I don't like to laugh at myself or get teased at. It's not just here. It's irl too. I get butthurt easily and that's the hardest to change.

And from my experience, I can't really trust therapists.

Trump: Virginia shootings "mental health problem, not gun problem."
http://www.cnn.com/2015/08/27/politics/donald-trump-virginia-shooting-mental-health-gun-laws/index.html
Spoiler
Donald Trump said Thursday he is opposed to tightening gun laws in the U.S. but is in favor of addressing mental health to prevent shootings, one day after a man shot two journalists on live television.

"This isn't a gun problem, this is a mental problem," Trump told CNN's Chris Cuomo on "New Day." "It's not a question of the laws, it's really the people."

Calling the gunman a "very sick man," Trump said mental illness is "a massive problem" in the U.S. He suggested more resources should be devoted to addressing mental health -- hoping to prevent shootings like the one in Virginia, which he called "really, very sad."

So, Trump, if this guy had mental issues then why is it so easy for people with mental issues to get guns in this country? Obviously there's nothing wrong with guns.
Even if it's just part of his platform and bid for votes, mental health is actually a huge problem that needs a solution right now and a candidate starting that discussion is good.

But I'm not sure how well any new programs can defend from the likes of this guy, he was functioning and seemed clean until this snap.
More and better attention for mental health care = great.
Guns and easy access to them are not a problem whatsoever = opinion discarded .jpg

Time to argue with you again.

I'm just going to say this once and only once.

If you take guns away, that's not going to stop shit like this still. They will still happen. It won't change a god damn thing. If anything, it will make shootings and murders even more common.

If I really wanted to, I can go get a gun right now at a flea market, illegal? Yes, but why would I give a fuck about the law if I want to commit murder or a mass shooting?

If you don't get the point now with your side of the argument on taking away guns from everyone who LEGALLY bought theirs, then I refuse to accept your side of defense entirely, and I always will, because you're wrong.

Try living in the US for 22 years before you decide what our laws should be, friend.
He's not talking about getting rid of guns he's talking about getting rid of the easy access to them.

Impose a system like the UK.

Mmmhmmm good luck with that. That's not going to change a damn thing here.
I'm talking to a brick wall.

I feel the same way with people who think they know best and yet they don't even live in this country.
Sometimes in life, it takes an outside observer to point out the flaws of someone or something

Here's another life tip. When someone gives you advice you don't dismiss them, if it doesn't apply to you then don't say anything.

I don't understand why you do this to yourself tbh, wanting to get your "approval rating". I'm pretty neutral.

I understand why you get mad a lot of the time, but with that said, I honestly think it would be better for your sanity to avoid here and leave, or at least avoid the general community (create your own little group to interact with for example, once the groups actually get implemented here).

I mean, everytime you return something gets you into a rampage soon afterwards and IIRC it's been fuckng with you blood pressure. You don't need undue stress, and this place sure isn't going to change to suit you, nor are you able to suit it whether you say you've tried/are trying, repeatedly.

Well as I said, I'm in no position to rage anymore. It actually hurts to explode or even trying to.

You're not that bad. I think you can overreact sometimes but I don't have anything against you.

Deci you are a good person. You let things get to you from time to time, but don't we all? You do tend to hold grudges, but that's something that takes time to heal to get over. You do start some interestingly good threads here that's for sure!

Thanks Kitsune. That means a lot.

^.^ others might not see it, but I can tell you're doing your best to break that cycle. You just gotta remember trolls are gonna troll and you gotta ignore them and to roll with the punches.

True.

I'm at least glad that we're alright.

As long as you're genuinely O.K. and can handle the constant attacks you receive, do as you please. You won't get shit from me.

If anything I get mildly annoyed from time to time, but that's it. However, I'm avoiding Anarchy and Skype chats from now on.

Never cared to go out of my way to hate or like you.

What happened Prehistoric? I thought we were alright.

We are alright. I was just being honest. I don't have anything against you, but our lack of similar interests or history means I don't have any particular attachment to you. Hence, "I have nothing against you".

I definitely think you should leave this forum, though. And I mean that in the nicest way possible. Your history isn't exactly conducive to getting along with people. I constantly see specific users barrade you for no good reason, and I bet that get tiresome. It can't be good for anything.

Oh.

As far as me going on the forums, I'll be alright. People can say whatever they want about me now really. I don't have the energy I used to to "explode"

I'll just deal with my infamy, and I'm trying to post so much cringeworthy shit.

I only made this because I'm bored.

I'm at least glad that we're alright.
