I'll say this now, my Showdown is a laggy piece of shit, and I have no idea why.
If it disconnects, I can usually connect back again, and I'm sorry if the turns take a while due to the lag.
It's been laggy for everyone lately.
Any reason for it?

Because unlike other companies Nintendo doesn't flood the market and creates demand. Also the WiiU is really good that no one want to sell theirs for a low price.
I found one for $180 one time on Craigslist, but ever since Smash came out, I haven't been able to find one for less than $225.
