GGs, you won at least 5 games actually. i don't understand throws, at all
when is it a good idea to throw (because whenever i try to grab someone, i just get hit)
and how do i avoid grabs (because i just get grabbed ALL fucking day)
I grab whenever I notice my opponent shielding a lot, or just because I feel like it. To prevent being grabbed, you gotta space out your attacks. Did you notice how when I used my aerials on my way to the ground I would weave backwards after hitting you or your shield? That's what I mean. and when i'm landing after getting knocked high up, what's the best course of action
because obviously, air dodging doesn't always help if you're just gonna get hit when you land anyway
I switch between an aggressive descent and a defensive ascent. By aggressive I mean using aerials or simply holding down, and by defensive I mean air dodging.
