It's less of a problem for battlefield because you have a larger pool of meatshields and retards to keep soaking up the enemy bullets <.<

The worst thing to happen there is rather than quitting, they all go and sit in the spawn with Interventions and just lie there getting killed repeatedly.

After the prison it got a bit... eh...
I enjoyed the conflict between the gubenur and the main guys, but it was the Typhus outbreak that pissed me off. A building full of cells, people dying of THE EBOLUS and you already know that when they die they come back as walkers... so nobody thinks to just shut all the cell doors at night? Walkers are pretty retarded, you don't even have to lock the doors just pull them shut and they'd walk at it and moan and wake everyone up so they can shoot 'em.

But no, let's hang linen everywhere so nobody has a clear line of site and let eboloid child #2 shit himself silly into the water supply and have le spoopy zombie outbreak.

Then the season after was mostly just run to the hills and do some stuff and say some words and head towards the terminal place and then get locked up by hillbillies. I haven't watched the latest season yet but I doubt much is going to happen beyond a repeat of the prison.

It's not a bad show, but it's not one that I'm hyped for anymore.

There's a tiny space for an ad banner that shows up 1 out of all 10 times you refresh a page. It's hardly intrusive or obnoxious in any way. I'm not a fan of ads myself, but it's hardly even noticeable and keeps this site alive, so I see no reason not to disable my adblock for this site.

Yes, this isn't some free proboards forum. Cheat is paying for the upkeep, server costs and certain plug-ins (like the notifications one). By putting up ads, the revenue helps cover these costs.

It's a single, small add at the top of the screen that shows up 1/10th of the times. It divides the costs over all members (that don't have to pay a dime) and avoids us having to rely on donations / subscription fees and such.

I would rather a sub fee, honestly.

Oke, the anti-adblock argument here has been presented pretty badly <_<

Snake, here are the short reasons why.

Server hosting isn't free or cheap, for a lively forum like this one especially. Nobody can expect Cheat to pay it out of pocket so that the adverts are sustaining the site at this point is a good thing. Plugins for the site (To make it better/add features) usually cost money if they are going to be decent and not shite, again this can't be expected to be paid for by Cheat.

The ads are a necessary evil, nobody likes adverts but the ones on here (When they display, which is infrequently)  are fairly unintrusive. It's just the old fashioned banner ones, no noise/redirect bullshit. That was happening at one point but the new ad provider is (to my understanding) not pulling that shit like some of the previous ones were.

Sub fees aren't an option because of a few reasons, the first is that if it's pay to access then the site will die instantly. If it's pay for premium status, then it opens up unpleasant lines of bias and preferential treatment.

Donations are the other and it was considered at one point but it's an unreliable source of income and would likely lead to begging style shit if the site is on the rocks.

So if you want to disable adblock on here, great! Every bit counts, but nobody should be giving you shit over leaving it on. Is it a bit selfish? Perhaps, but does anyone on the internet have the right to dictate to you what you want displayed on your screen? I don't believe so <.<

I'd ask that you give it a try, a few days or so but that's completely optional >.>
