Coal and Iron eh? Might as well stock up on steel supplies
EDIT: Just bought supplies. I' start making bars soon, but I'ma hold off on selling until we're at least above 525gp on steel bar price :/
Yup, now is the best time to stock up on supplies for making steel. Only sell what you need to, to keep the business flowing etc. You want to have a nice stockpile of steel for when the price improves.

Hokai Mr Shekelduck Psystein's GE report Buy in bulk now -Iron Ore -Coal Ore
Likely to be a good investment/easy flip -Feathers -Basic Runes
Risky payoffs -Brass Keys Predictions for the coming days -Gradual stabilisation as more players pass the trade timer -Core commodities fluctuating in price, probably for the worst (Iron/Logs/Raw Food) but this is an opportunity to buy up for later -Beads/Gemstones will slowly increase in demand, as more people need them for quests/crafting but do not sell below specific price guide (PM psy for details)

PS2 and I think it was either Lego Star Wars or something similar. Maybe MK: Armageddon. It was all shared between my brothers though, the first thing I owned exclusively would be an Xbox 360 and Halo 3.

Oke I've made 20k so far but the GE is kinda derpy with prices.
A lot of stuff just plain isn't selling but I'm putting that down to half the playerbase being stuck with this trade timer <.<

For the next few months say, rather than a long term projection.
What have you got planned that you are looking forwards to or perhaps dreading?

Well I was born in west philadelphia, raised there and I spent most of my free time with my friends on the basketball court. Hmm, let's see. Story tiem I was the eldest brother (I have an older half brother too, but he didn't live with us), my little brothers were born at two year intervals and for the most part the early years were all fun and games. Loving parents, days out to places, toys and VHSes to play with/watch. Books books and more books for me. Picturesque childhood.
Then we moved when I was hmm 7-8 years old, thereabouts, things were a bit... shaky at this point. We moved into a house that was built near an old plague pit, which provided a convenient explanation for all the banging/breaking noises in the night. 'Evil spirits' was the explanation I was given, but in a few years time I'd figured out that it was more to do with spirits of the alcoholic kind >_>
We moved out of the house to a smaller cottage on a hill, where things were alright for a time but within a couple of years things were deteriorating fast. My mum went from a saint to an alky bitch and made life fucking hell for all of us. Now this isn't a QQ sympathy plix, it's just relevant to how I grew up. After a few years of fighting with my dad, running away in the night and crashing cars into ditches she left us. She fucked off to live a nice fancy life of luxury whilst we were living in borderline poverty. (Jokes on her though, she left a loving family for a rich abusive twat who battered her around until she got some sense and left) So of course, as the eldest brother I had to look after my younger brothers. This is why all that^ is important, it was this point that I got loaded up with responsibility (14 years old give or take) and I had to look after them, there was no room to fuck around and be a (I forget the word, but a child who plays up in school and rebels against authority etc)
This didn't really rub off on my younger brother though, second in line, who played up like a complete fethwipe. I had to fight this mungo bastard every day to stop him from bullying the youngest, there were more than a few times where I had brawls that lasted a few hours because this dipshit wouldn't back off. It's a miracle that nobody got seriously injured <.<
She moved to a house that was about 2 miles away, so we still had the misfortune of being left with her every weekend or so. It was all pretty much the same, she'd drink herself unconscious before 8pm and be KO'd on the floor. I'd have to put my brothers to bed, lock up and sort out the kitchen etc. All the while doing my GCSEs at school ._.
Eventually she fucked off to the other end of the country, we didn't have to see her anymore and we've sorted our shit out. We now live in a wonderful big ass house, dad has got a new partner who has been a godsend and generally things are improving a lot quite rapidly for us. Whereas Ms. Wine-o-clock is now living in a shitty house in the arse end of the country with buggerallmoneh and a bunch of scars.
If you made it this far, don't worry it's not a copypasta/walk the dinosaur <.<
The responsibility of looking after my brothers and dealing with a drunk mother helped iron out any nonsense that might have been entertained in my head. So I'm unfortunately quite a serious stick in the mud, I can still joke and laugh but I'm like a wary old lady/complete killjoy for a lot of the more reckless pursuits of people my age. I view this as a positive though, it means I'll at least be living a good life for a long time in the future rather than partying away at uni and blowing my chances etc.
Seeing her run her life into the ground like that is why I have an intense dislike of alcohol and substance abuse, but I've mellowed out enough to direct my hatred of it correctly and as such Addicts don't deserve further abuse and ire for their weaknesses. They need help to be pulled out of it and you can direct your hatred at the substance itself.
All of the shit I went through is kinda why I'm a little screwed in the head, but on the bright side it motivates me to be a better person and to be going into my future aspiration (Psychologist) to try and help make sure that some poor bastard like myself doesn't have to deal with a mother like I did <.<
Well, this has been quite the pensive evening >.> Um something something tldr, walk the dinosaur all the way to bel air yadayadayada. I'll take my wall construction award from the officio sandtraptorum now thanks >.>
Blarg.

Yeah, we are a bit too lenient. Part of this stems from the fact that this is a relatively small offsite, we don't have a massive turnover of users like a developer's website does (I.e, Bnet) so bans aren't something given out lightly.
Even with being a small site people like Based Love should have been a lot sooner when he was just posting those spam threads. That's all he did and it took awhile for him to get banned. We all know Xboxdotcom just posts here to troll and nothing is being done about him. So why keep members that are not posting here to post besides trolling? That's just shit modding
It's a fair point, but it's mostly for the giving people a fair chance to turn things around approach. If they were just perma'd straight off the bat it would be unfair but yeah there is going to be a bit of a crackdown on users who do spend their time here maliciously.

As time has gone on and drama has drama'd, this community has slowly turned into a massive clusterfuck. It's pretty poorly moderated for the most part and repeat offenders come back time and time again. It took Kinder two times of posting my personal information for him to finally get perma'd. People who repeatedly harass others with malicious intent (Verb) or people who literally only troll and shitpost (Dustin) remain unpunished while calling Kinder fat at one point was a ban-worthy offence. I'll just address this bit here.

What I think is a valid concern is the repeat offenders, there is actually an already established precendent/system for dealing with users who pull this shit and it's probably time it was dusted off and brought to the fore a bit more >.> I'll link it below.

This was brought out to deal with some serious drama llama infestations, and it worked at the time. It's a bit too medieval to be used as vigorously in my opinion, but if we set a certain threshold of warning points at which this will apply then there shouldn't be an issue.
There's still 'issues' so to speak like non-mods being in the staff chat.
That would be slightly unrelated to this I think <.< A topic for another day >.> Also everyone keep an eye out for an announcement, I think we are going to update this and enforce it on the users who meet the criteria.

Okay, I'll put it simply and kindly.
Deci, I suggest you stop where you are going right now. PM me if you want to vent or whatever, but derailing another thread with arguing is going to lead to you getting a liteban. I don't want this to happen, but if it keeps up ITT I'll be removing the posts and giving you said slap.

*sigh*
This isn't supposed to be the wild west either, I simply said that we aren't the sort of place that kicks out the 'undesirables' simply because that's a subjective issue.
Also locked because this thread was going to go down the shitter fairly quickly.

Deci, there is no need to start firing off personal attacks at people.
Discuss things nicely, even if you are irritated with someone.
Why is this website considered infamous now? Why is TOTD leaving? It's pretty obvious that the tards here are getting a free ride.
I wasn't aware that it was, unless you are referring to Bnet being salty towards this place but that's been the case since the site went up. Well, I believe he's explained his reasons and I don't want to see him go but if he's tired of things then taking a break/leaving is entirely his prerogative. Some are, some aren't. Sep7 isn't an elitist closed doors kool kidz klub, you get the rough with the smooth and the shitposters with the quality ones. It's a hard thing to balance but as I've said before this place is for the flood remnants and the Offtopic users who were sick of Bnet. And the worst offenders don't get an easy ride, certain users who persist in shitting the place up have been getting progressively harsher bans and will be facing a perma in the not too distant future, if they don't change their behaviour.

Yeah...
There are quite a few from when I was quite young, I moved schools in Year 2/3 so all of my early childhood friends were left behind. I've been able to find a few of them through family/facebook, but honestly I kind of wish I hadn't <.<
My memories of them from what 12-13 years ago don't really match up with who they are now, as you would expect. I found it too awkward to really talk to them much, because of how much they've changed (And I expect they think the same of me). That's just the way of things though <.<
There are a couple of them that I haven't been able to contact again, and I'm kind of inclined not to. I'd rather just keep the memory of who they were when we were kids than have that destroyed and replaced by something... ehh... that's different.

GG is united by a desire for better more ethical journalistic standards within the gaming industry.
why not just all journalism?
My guess is that it's a matter of picking your battles, people care about gaming a lot more than they do about the newspaper they get shoved through the letterbox each day. It's small enough to take on with a hope of winning, a twitter campaign/advertising boycott wouldn't faze the big dogs because most of their revenues I suspect are generated through direct sales etc.

gg guys
As always. I'm tempted to just start going medieval on people for derailing these threads. This happens every god damn time, regardless of what it's actually about. You say anime and people with nothing better to do with their time will ruin the thread.
I'm more than guilty of my fair share of derision but it's meant to be in fun more than anything. If it's a problem I'll stop.
It would be appreciated <.< On it's own, a few people making fun is fine but the issue is arising with the collective effect it's having. Poking fun now and then is fine but yeah, it's getting a bit out of hand with all of the people doing a little bit or a lot at once <.<

What still eludes me, is why the people who dislike anime insist on shitting up anime threads like this.
Do you see sports threads getting drowning a spammy sea of chinese cartoons? Is Gaming dominated by JRPG talk? Is economics 101 Serious nothing but Sino-Japanese relations arguments?
No, it's not. So why come into a thread that has Anime in the title with nothing to add other than 'Hurr durr I don't like what you like', I could understand it for the first few threads but this shit has been happening for months now and it's getting on my nerves.
So, why do ya do it?
I'm sorry, but I've continued mybquest to destroy anime for too long to simply end it now. :/
Then I'd kind of suggest finding something better to occupy your time with <.<
