Ehh, I haven't actually run into a single problem with my PS4 so far. That's a year and a half of heavy usage too <.< Literally the only sort of problem is with the thumbstick on one of the controllers (rather than the console) started to screw up so I ended up getting a new one.

It just delays the onset a little bit but then you'll be in an unfamiliar place with less support and be less able to cope with it when it catches up with you.
Excuses will help you going too, but not for long. It's just a difficult time while you find your place in the grand scheme of things, but when you have you will be much more content with life. If you want to talk at all, my inbox is always open and I'll see what I can do to help you out.
