i know the feeling, oftentimes I experience one of those days where you don't want to wake up, it seems as if everything is fucked. This, coupled with the fact that everyone seems to suck makes one ponder the justification of ripping someones head off
Yeah uhh, I just have to be careful I don't confuse lucid dreams with one of these weeks <_<

Only when I'm feeling depressed.
Hmm, I wonder if that might be playing a part in this then >.> I mean at least it's not returning fully, but it's still there in the background despite the tablets <.<
Might just be having a tantrum or something then >.>
Hold on, are you talking about me or yourself?
Me <.<
Which is yourself, being myself. Ugh, my brain doesn't like to work very well when I have the sleeping tablets >.>
I'm referring to myself with that^
Oh. Just that way you said it was confusing.
I haven't been depressed since senior year of high school so...yeah. Try not to think too hard while you're on those things.
Yeah it was confusing me as I wrote it. That's good though >.> And I should probably head for bed soon, because I think I'm just going to get up to camnator's level of incoherence.

Ahh, well nothing like that has happened to me so unless someone is slipping drugs into my teabags I doubt it is either of those here >.>
Well disassociation doesn't exactly need an external catalyst.
Hmm, I can't say I'd know enough to call it >.>

That was last week.
Yeah. Sometimes there's just those really off weeks where things seem like a blur for some reason. Like it wasn't real.
Hmm, well I'm glad it's not just me then <.< Hopefully this passes soon >.> Ye but it's usually after something surreal happens like someone's death or me taking psychedelics.

A week where it seems like you are forgetting all sorts of things, one where nothing actually seems to register either. Most of this last week has felt like being in a dream, everything seems a bit like it's fake/imagined. I know it's not and that it is indeed real, but it's a bit disorientating all the same. Kind of like I'm just losing it gradually.
It's happened a few times before and it seems to pass after a few days, I doubt there is anything really all that wrong it's just a weird sort of feeling.
Anyone else have these from time to time? A bit like you are just stuck in a dream.

I'd split it into roughly two types
1. People who do it for funsies 2. People who are mentally ill
Funsies are the ones who don't genuinely believe they are a dingo trapped in a caribou's body or a greater auk reincarnated into a meatbag. It's a gimmick, not necessarily in an unkind way but it's just a weird thing that they go pretend to be. I think it's weird as shit but I'm sure there are people who think that robotic body parts >>>>>> Meatbag components is weird, so I try not to judge.
Then the people who genuinely think they are an animal in a human's body, these are the ones who should be taken to a psychiatrist. Psychosis/Delusions in that manner etc tends to be the preserve of Schizophrenia and leaving that untreated and someone believing that they are actually a dog is not right. There was a story I was reading somewhere, might have been here or on youtube but it was to the effect of someone having a panic attack while working for a supermarket and shrieking/growling like a wolf at the customers which resulted in them being sacked. People who are that dysfunctional also need to be taken to a shrink's office. Either voluntarily or not, depending on how severe their psychosis is.
But of course, all that^ is just some evil oppressive conspiracy against them to suppress their spirit animal etc (Paranoia is also a hallmark of schizoid disorders <.<)

Clearly the chap in the ambulance should have whopped out his bible and started bashing the patient's head screaming 'THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU' until they were unconscious. That's the only way to deal with psychotic episodes silly

The first bomb was definitely justified. Japan had no intention of surrendering any time soon. It was necessary deterrent of future conflict.
The second bomb is debatable. I've heard from some that Japan was planning to surrender after Hiroshima and didn't have time to do so before Nagasaki, but others insist they would have continued anyway.
^ The first bomb can be argued as justifiable, dropping a second one without giving them sufficient time to surrender just seems downright malicious. You unveil the most powerful weapon on the planet and atomise hundreds of thousands in an instant and expect that to not be the biggest paralyser for a country like that? One bomb was enough.

I'm not really big on philosophy but one of the ones that has always stood out to me was this
''He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you.'' ~ Meta's Waifu
It's the last part that stands out to me, whether or not it's what was meant by the original quote doesn't really matter, it's that a psych who spends all day every day looking into the minds of the damaged and the broken, seeing the torments and suffering that people go through whilst trying to help them can take an unfortunate toll <.<
You always "attribute" quotes to things like that. Lol.
To psychology stuff or to meta's waifu?
Both. You attribute quotes to random things.
Oh right, well that's because I'm poking fun at meta here.

So the chinese are making genetically modified humans and Nasa might have made a warp field eh?
>_>
What a time to be alive.
And hover vehicles
And VR
And Aleowns
And Mars colonies
And Our Glorious Emperor David Cameron
Praise be humanity
One of these things is not like the others, One of these things is not good at all.
You're right
They are all utter shite, Farage is xenophobic shite as opposed to self serving shite. Someone who blames the NHS struggling on the immigrants knows absolutely jack fucking shit about how it really works and is just blaring the populist trumpet to rally up the mouthbreathers.

If I could genetically alter my unborn child to have no genetic diseases and be in the best physical shape possible, what is the downside?
You'd have to put up with a screaming horde of luddites blathering on about how you are worse than hitler etc etc.

Hows your sleep schedule? It was atrocious, now it's kinda alright. I mean for years it was utter shite, but now it's kind of stabilised through a lot of effort.
If its bad, how did it become that way? Sleep deprivation on a 10 year old for 2 years tends to fuck your circadian sideways.
Any plans on fixing it anytime soon? Kinda did, so just sticking with it >.>
Health issues keeping you from having a good nights sleep or just staying up for video games/internet? Yeah, long term insomnia courtesy of answer #2. Now I have sleeping tablets (Have done for the last year or so, probably two now actually) which help knock me the fuck out at night, but it's not really a KO it's more of a 'slowly get less and less coherent until you are a drooling mess and pass out' effect. Hence some of my more... eccentric posts later at night >_>

Japan hasn't really been repentant over what they did in the interwar and world war two years, to the point of straight up revisionist history books. At the same time expecting individual apologies for every minor* war crime when japan is quite happy to piss into the wind over major ones, it's a bit of a long shot.
*Minor as in forced prostitution =/= the sacking of nanking, occupation of manchuria, Ayylmaonanasanichibutaitime (731部隊), and the whole death railway farce they had going on.
Should they apologise? Yup. Will they? Unlikely.
Except they already have. One of their prime ministers personally/officially apologized and they paid war reparations years ago. Crazy jap politicians are actually looking at reviewing that apology as a political stunt.
There are definitely revisionists out there on the jap side, but on the Korean side as well. None of this is really news. Japan and Korea hate each other with a passion. Hilarious to watch them literally call each other gooks tho.
Oh right >.> Well I stand corrected then <.< Which PM was it?
