Welcome to my battlefield hell.

You'd think that the whole 'DICE EU SERVER 1234124' would give the hint for mexicanos to stay the fuck out, but noooooope.

It's like they've natualy evolved  a habit of going exacly where they donn't belong, be that borders, or servers or my job
Yeehaw, but seriously I fucking hate it when EU servers become BRBRparty time and the whole Latino world is invited. I'd almost rather fight russkies and their unholy ping.

How about Austrailians?
Aussies make me die a little inside.
oh?

I mainly like sticking to OCE servers when I can anyway. Aint fun otherwise

*sips tea*
Yeh, I mean I like aussies normally it's just battlefield turns me into a borderline klanner when it comes to ping <_<

Aussies should be in aussie servers, yanks in yank servers and eurofags in eu servers. tis the way god intended us to shoot each other.

Keeping more of the population healthy doesn't quite mean that the economy is going to grow
I'm not saying that, I'm saying the NHS has constantly swallowed up a larger and larger share of the economy since its inception.
Hmm, well I guess that is a bit more problematic then. Is it to do with the expanded services as opposed to basic ones at launch? (Sounds like a bloody product demo worded like that lol)

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: the NHS has always been a financial mess since year one. It isn't sustainable.
Well yeah, but it's meant to be a service provided to the population funded by other means.
The benefits of having a healthy working population thus paying taxes is where I think the NHS pays it's own, just not in terms of direct treasury wonga.
Surely, if it pays for itself, you'd expect a steadily increasing share of the economy in terms of funding to translate into a steadily increasing standard of healthcare. And yet pretty much all credible studies by the likes of the OECD or the ECHI throw us down to the bottom.
Well, not necessarily. Keeping more of the population healthy doesn't quite mean that the economy is going to grow I'd say it's more about keeping it at a happy stasis, then other means grow the economy proper.

Don't get me wrong, the NHS is pretty shitty and there is a lot that needs doing to sort it out. I just don't think replacing it with a yank system is a good idea at all, making it more efficient is fine provided that it doesn't negatively impact the standard of care.

If partial privatisation is kept to a limit, where it's used to trim the fat and make it work better (Like that hospital that was circling the drain, I forget the name of it but you linked it here a while back) then that's fine, I don't have a problem with delivering better care because that's just downright silly. What I don't want to see is that then used as a springboard to argue for privatising the NHS further and reversing the system of free universal healthcare <_<

I mean, a tory victory is probably a good thing for the economy to not get crashed into the ground (austerity is a bitch but it looks like it's actually worked) but I just hope they keep their filthy paws off the NHS >_>
Attempting to even think about scrapping the NHS would be both literal and political suicide for the Tories. Hell, UKIP of all parties, have pledged to increase NHS spending by an extra £3 billion. All parties pretty much know that maintaining the NHS is absolutely paramount for winning votes.

Still, I don't think it's wrong to cut down on bureaucracy and tweak PFI contracts, because right now the NHS is far from perfect. Unfortunately the left tend to misconstrue that as "FOK PRIVATIZATION" which immediately shuts down any kind of conversation about the possibility of improving the NHS.

I'd hopefully like to see more competition within the NHS and adopt a dual funded system (like pretty much the majority of Europe has at this point) in my lifetime.
If it remains free (At the point of access) then that's what really counts for me, well not me personally but the idea of the system. Insurance based healthcare and pay to see your GP/Shrink stuff really really rustles my jimmies. If they can find ways to improve services, whilst maintaining the 'Pay your taxes -> Healthcare for everyone' system then that's fine. What I don't like is the creep towards privatisation and some of the bright sparks who say things like 'Let's make people pay £10 to see their GP'.

If they sorted their shit out when it came to staffing, so they weren't blowing money down the drain constantly on locums then I doubt the NHS would be in such a mess financially. They do an important job, but they rob the bank while they do it. Paying private sector nurses and doctors a disgusting amount of money to cover up the holes in staff isn't something I like to see happen, we need more NHS staff trained in the UK who then remain here rather than swanning off somewhere else.

And I guess the real axe to grind I have with cuts in the NHS is how disproportionately hard the mental healthcare system gets hit. More cuts = More people left untreated = More people out of work/on benefits, so until that's fixed I'm not to happy with the way they have been bleeding it dry.

Buncha profligates ITT

If the game wasn't so content biased for the NCR I'd go legion every time. Trouble is that if you do the majority of the mojave just becomes a giant killing ground, which is fun for a few hours but when all the merchants are dead and the NPCs crucified it gets a bit dull.
We really needed a 5th DLC o open up the area east of the river to allow all that fun Legion goodness.

Do you lobotomise Caeser?
Nah, I do the surgery and save him <.<
You fucking profligate

Caesar is the Legion though <.<

Without him it would just collapse back into tribes of savages.
Not when those savage tribes are shit scared of the beast though
True, but the trouble is if the legion is just being led by a beast rather than a learned fellow like Caesar it's going to turn into a pack of savages anyway.

I don't see lanius caring much about the economics/trade routes/social policies side of things and more about how many NCR meatshields he can fit onto one bayonet <_<
