Considering that for it to even be considered a parasite the other thing has to be adversely affected
I don't think so, unless I've gotten my definitions muddled up. A parasite that benefits the host and thus lives a longer life itself by way of the host not kicking the bucket would be a more successful one imo.

So make the world a better place rather than complain about it, if you want people to stop treating the different differently then just lead by example. There are over a million types of personalities and combinations, but the way I see it, the vast majority of people are shit. Says everyone ever, people love to generalise. When you actually get to know people, they oddly enough turn out to be generally tolerable creatures. Sure you get a few thoroughly unpleasant ones in the mix but the reason they seem to make up the majority is because you notice the guy spitting at the old lady more than you notice the 200 people who walked past you on the street earlier. This species alone is parasitic. Humans take all the resources the earth has to offer until there is nothing left. We take and take and take and never give. Well technically we aren't taking anything, we are just repurposing it. It's not leaving the planet, just being turned into various more useful things. We can certainly go about this in a less damaging manner though, but the species itself is not parasitic as such. If you want a nice little way to view humans as moderately less shite than the hatred trailer's view of them, then just think about the propensity for the species to care for other living creatures. You see it rarely in other species, lions adopting antelopes (Crazy, I know) and Wolves raising meatbag children etc but on the whole most species on the planet look out for their own kind, whereas humans act* as caretakers for any and every species, not just the cutesy ones either. People find even the ugliest abominations adorable in a weird kind of way, what sort of quirk of nature is it that makes a species inclined to care for and raise the orphaned young, injured and dying of other completely unrelated species? Not a common one that's for sure <_< *Can act, not all but generally people do. Even if their method of kindness involves a bullet to the head to put it out of it's misery, which is unpleasant but it is still a kindness in some situations.

Same again for HoW? I'd say £10 because it was notably better.
Forty Fucking Quid for the next expansion? Like hell I'm buying that shit. I'll just wait a year for the Destiny Super Become Legendary edition next september and save myself about £100+
I mean that is if this new DLC doesn't just act as the tipping point for the disgruntled fans who are still dragging along because of the time and effort put into the game and the lack of other games to play.
I've had some fun with it but I genuinely hope the game dies come october.

Rockstar gave us a shit ton of free content for GTA Online. They didn't charge a dime for the DLC. Weapons, vehicles, missions, heists (eventually). That's shit other companies charge you a shit ton for and Rockstar has basically been like a modding community giving us all this free content.
None of you should've bought any of the shy Bungie released. How can any of you talk shit when you've all bought the DLC? We have Sol saying he's put a hundred dollars into the game, and you predablynhabe done the same.
What the fuck? Protest with your wallet. Whining after paying those extortionate prices accomplishes nothing. If anything it reaffirms that game devs can effectively pimp their loyal customers.
There isn't really a great selection of co-op games to play at the moment <_< And I haven't actually put anything into the game myself >_> It's all been a gift otherwise I probably wouldn't have even bought the basegame.
