I mean that's one way to look at it, I prefer to view it as captive breeding release schemes.

Since froakies are extinct in the wild, me releasing 500 of the buggers singlehandedly is doing something to help them REEEEEEEEestablish themselves.

For all we know they might be an invasive species, you might have destroyed the Lake of Rage's ecosystem

You monster
oh

what have I done? D:

Erm, looks like the lemonade stall plan might not be equitable after all <_<

Unsurprising really for psychology, although it's kind of swung the other way again when they realised that you need male shrinks to treat male patients for optimal effect (Not that it can't be done either way, but iirc (and from firsthand experience) they try to match the gender/race/culture of the patient/therapist as best as possible for a number of reasons.

So having a 8:1 pushing 9:1 ratio of female clinpsys to male clinpsys is kind of fucking the balance up big time, so now universities have a nice little 'preference given to male applicants to meet shortfall' tag.

I would say I was surprised to see this, but given how my psychology class for AS was 2 M 18 F and for A2 it dropped to 1 M 10 F it's not really that much of a shock.

Either corden is very good at faking being hurt by words, or that really wasn't scripted <.<
It wasn't.
Yeah <.<

That was pretty dickish.

I have created over a thousand daggers

Iron Daggers are quite nostalgic for me, when they patched that out it was such a pity. Instead it became all about the gold ring spam instead lol. So many exploits in that game, it was quite funny <.<

how else is society supposed to function? how else do you provide government services?
Well you see goots, you leave everyone to it and after a few years of anarchy and strife people will look to the natural leaders in their ranks and start to bring about some sort of order. This then grows to make sure that everyone has food, water and safety and then it grows further to implement a justice system to allow people to have their grievances dealt with fairly.

Then of course they have to ensure a fair allocation of resources for work, and all citizens contribute or get thrown out and then boom you have a normal government again for edgelords to whine about on the internet. Or to leave engravings on rocks to fight the powah.
i say humanity just nukes itself to extinction so that another intelligent life form can evolve and hopefully do better than we have
How do you think we got here in the first place? <_<

The dinosaurs nuked themselves to try again.

Huh, well that didn't actually seem as bad as I expected it to be.

Living wage stuff aside, that budget doesn't look too harsh considering what it could have been so it might do for the other parties to do something other than bitch about it in parliament for once, like a broken bloody record.

7273
Lawd have mercy, this video should be age restricted because that's the bloodiest massacre I've seen since palmyra.

7274
I got rich by just playing the game and selling all the rare swords I found
Yeh that certainly works, but I like to get the most jewgold for my stuff, so getting a 1:1 ratio for trading in this game is something I enjoy quite a lot <_<

Gaming / Bottleman and the most valuable currency in The Witcher 3
« on: July 08, 2015, 10:36:42 AM »
I'm wondering how many of you who play it already know about the bottleman, if you do then yey if not then have a quick read.

It's kind of cheesing in a way, so I'll spoiler it for those who don't like temptation to bend the rules and all that.

Spoiler
In novigrad there is a merchant who sells empty bottles at a 1:1 ratio for Crowns, his stock infinitely replenishes with new bottles each time you exit the shop menu but the currency remains, I think he also buys all good and I mean all goods at a 1:1 value ratio for crowns.

So rather than getting 100 something crowns for a 600 crown diamond, you can get 600 crowns or 600 bottles. The reason the bottles are valuable here is because when you sell them to any other merchant with say 4000000000000 crowns in their inventory you get back the 1:1 trade in for bottles. This is how you get around the bottleman having only a few hundred crowns every few days or so.

So after trawling the countryside and looting my way through the game I fast travel to st gregory's bridge and go down to the waterfront, find the merchant and spend about 20 minutes cashing it all in for bottles. Then when I have 6000+ bottles in my inventory which oddly enough only weighs like 60 carry weight (Zerrikanian saddlebags make that nothing) I wander around the town and cash in the bottles for stuff I actually want like spamloads of rare alchemy stuff.

Video has a location for ya

If you already know about bottleman, can you suggest any other ways to exploit the game? <_<

The Flood / Re: TFW MAINTENANCE GRANTS ARE BEING CUT
« on: July 08, 2015, 08:45:57 AM »
So the new loans that are replacing grants are to be the same system as SFE?

Ehh, I can live with that. It doesn't actually affect me but once again it's going to put people off going and usually from all the wrong backgrounds too. Someone working their way up from the gutters isn't going to blow a chance at uni on some liberal arts nonsense, but if they see the option comes tied in with ridiculous amounts of debt (even with a reasonable repayment system) then it's not going to help matters.

WHAT THE FUCK OSBORNE

GOD DAMN
Don't tell me you are surprised by this.

Straight out of the bat it's slash the disabled benefits and now cut the funding to students, that oddly enough then biases higher education into the hands of the rich/well to do once more.

If you are really concerned about the money, the open university is probably the best option. I don't know if they'd have the course you want but it might be worth a look before writing it off.
