Some voted because they can't stand foreigners or because "british jobs for british workers", while others realized how important cheap migrant workers are for British businesses.
Trying to defend endless immigration with "it's good for the economy" is a moot point, you've got your priorities backwards. The economy exists to serve the people not the other way around. Brexit was fundamentally about whether or not Britain would remain a white country, or if it would become a paki/arab/polish mess, anyone saying they voted leave for any other reason is just being PC to avoid harassment and cries of racism.

Now I never expected Brexit to be allowed to happen by Brussels, or even the Tories. What I expected and continue to expect is it to give justification to a Frexit, Italexit, Grexit, etc. etc. When half the Union is voting to leave, and at the same time Russia ends the war in Syria but the "refugees" don't go back (why else is it called the migrant crisis? migrant implies they're going to stay in Europe, refugee implies they'll eventually go back), you'll have a situation that can only be solved with a dissolution of the EU.

Yes, the economy will tank, and we'll all feel it for a few years, that's a small price to pay when the alternative is Eurabia (especially considering the economy will bounce back anyway)
Couple of things
1. There is nothing wrong with the polish, they integrate well and work hard, what more can you want from immigrants?
2. The pakistani/indian population here far preceeds the EU and again, short of a few issues with some of the more recent ones (i.e Rotherham) they aren't really a problem for the UK. Sikhs and Hindus at least, Islam being Islam is where a lot of the integration issues come from in that region.
3. The EU has very little to do with the recent migrant hordes (in terms of the UK, what they are doing to their own countries is appalling) because britain doesn't have to take any of them in even if we were still in the EU.

Net migration is ridiculously high here regardless of where it comes from though, it would have been better to clamp down on it 10 years ago instead of flipflopping until it's reached this stage.

From what I remember the GTS works best in reverse, you want a vulpix? Then offer up your game's equivalent and say you want one.

The trade should complete very quickly because it's not one of those gib paras for rayquaza trades

I was a bit lukewarm towards HW2 tbh

This makes me a little bit more interested, I'm just hoping the final release doesn't look like sparten assalt.
Spartan Assault had an incredible soundtrack though.
I just don't want to see halo wars suffer the same fate as dawn of war.
well at least hw2 will have superb cutscenes if anything
Yes, that's the one thing that HW1 did exceptionally well.

I'll try to add something that you might not have heard a hundred times before, whether it's of any help or not I'm not going to make any promises but it might be so that's better than nothing imo.

It could be helpful for you to study it, I don't mean go sign up for a degree in it or start taking classes but learning about depression (from the academic/scientific perspective, rather than being treated for it or given a pamphlet about it) *might* help you with some of the effects of it.

Know your enemy and all that.

Aside from that^, Kits has covered a lot of the things I would ordinarily say.

I'm hoping Atriox doesn't die in this game and we get him in other things. The banished would be a good replacement for the covenant in future Halo games.

343i said they want to keep him around, but with their track record from Escalation onward, I wont be surprised if he's killed of in the in the game case's inserted pamphlet.

I don't think they make those pamphlets anymore so it'll probably be in a tweet or a facebook post.
Don't forget the 8 month ARG they make the fanbase go through to get to that final tweet

you spray it on a bleeding wound and it helps congeal and coagulate the blood.

Serious / Re: Why abortion should be legal
« on: December 03, 2016, 05:14:17 PM »
Just gonna nitpick out of old habits

Where do you draw the line between the different degrees of mental disability to determine Keep/Abort?

We'll go with the hypothetical where you can scan a foetus and determine it's mental state at 18 y/o, what sort of disability makes the difference between aborting it and keeping it?
Unfortunately I'll admit that there are certain disabilities that are somewhat predictable in their own right with varying degrees of severity, but I wouldn't necessarily abort someone who was going to have, say, mild autism (If  my understanding of it is correct), or ADHD. It's sort of a case-by-case basis, where I would need to be handed a description of whatever mental disability my child had the potential to have. Physical disabilities are different because while that individual has a potential decreased quality of life, it's perfectly possible for a physically handicapped individual to live a rich, fulfilling existence. But if a person were to be guaranteed to have a debilitating mental handicap that necessitated constant care and a guarantee of no success as a functioning human (Contributes nothing, only takes up space and consumes resources), I can't say I would want to have the kid.
I'd say part of my reluctance to agree with the idea is down to the variability you can have even within conditions.

It's not concrete, but there's growing evidence showing that appropriate intervention in the early stages of autism can make the world of difference in their functional ability in later life. So whilst you can have cases of severe autism, without blaming the parents I'd say that's less to do with the biological aspects of the condition (i.e overly male brain/lack of neural pruning) and more to do with an inappropriate upbringing*.

I'm not as familiar with Downs, but I've seen a little of both ends of it (fully functioning and constant-care), so my gut says you might have something a little similar going on.

So I'd say that as understanding and treatment/intervention improves, it should be a relatively simple matter (I mean it won't but on paper it can sound simple) to help LD individuals integrate into society without becoming that burden.

*It's hardly the fault of the parents if they are absolutely unequipped to deal with an LD child, giving them the proper support and training as early as possible is what's been making the difference in cases like that^

Really the only ones that I can think of that would be more towards 'incurable' are brain damage cases or things like intractable epilepsy. Where a person's quality of life is basically dogshit because they have grand mal seizures every couple of minutes, I could see an argument in favour for cases like that but as far as I know you can't really tell if that'll be the case prior to late-term/birth.

tldr incase i've rambled a lot
Whilst I can understand parents who simply aren't up for caring for an LD child aborting, I think it's a better solution to give them the tools and help to raise a functioning person, particularly as understanding/treatment options improve.

Serious / Re: Why abortion should be legal

Exactly. This is why its also totally cool to murder abort bed-bound vegetables, retarded people, and certain ethnic groups.
I would be lying if I said I didn't think that sufficiently mentally handicapped people are a burden on society. If there was a way of knowing ahead of time that my child was going to be a husk of a human being that could never amount to anything, I wouldn't hesitate to terminate the pregnancy (Assuming my wife and I were on the same page). The process of raising and caring for not just a child, but a retarded child is more draining than most people are capable of recognizing. It's often romanticized by acting like the process of caring for a severely disabled individual is a symbol of unending love and strength, but it's an unnecessary one; the world would be better off without the mentally disabled. Think of how much that person consumes the lives of the people who have to care for it, namely the family? It's heartbreaking.

If a "Bed-bound vegetable" has no chance of recovery, what's the point in keeping them on life support? They're functionally dead. Pull the plug.

And your ethnic groups example doesn't even make sense.

I wonder if it reflects the (relatively low) level of terrorism we experience, compared to say France. That and living in a nanny state helps I suppose.

I'd be kind of interested to see a follow-up on some of them to see what actually makes them want integration, because I doubt it's the clapping tier crap the government tried a couple of years back that's made the difference.

Someone explain to me why people bitch and moan at titanfall for having no singleplayer, yet Team Fortress for Normies gets away with it scott free and wins GOTY.

At least Titanfall actually had an ingame story. Even Destiny doesn't make you pay for Brian Reed-tier Sword Art Online comics books to get the story.

overwatch was more fun for more people than titanfall ever was

And Transformers movies continue to be big hits at the box office despite being terrible movies.

Gaming / Re: Anyone has Infinite Warfare / MW Remastered?
« on: December 01, 2016, 04:34:21 PM »
Just wait until they release the remaster as standalone.
They won't because IW isn't selling.

I work at Target and on Black Friday we were completely out of the Legacy Editions but we had around 60 regular editions of the game left.
selling it standalone is exactly the way to increase sales. No one wants this shitty futuristic shit a cod4 remaster though? I'd buy that, not full price of course $30/ £20.
But they won't lol

IW is $1 if you trade in certain games at GameStop. That's how desperate they are to sell copies.
I'm fairly certain they will, not in the holiday season at least but probably by Q2 next year we'll see a standalone.

If IW just won't sell, they'll want to recoup their losses on something that they are confident will.

Then it'll likely be dressed up in a suit of 'listening to the fans, we heard what you wanted' to go for the goodgoy free advertising publicity and everyone is a winner.
Ghosts was $1 for a limited time but that was last year when Black Ops 3 was already out. And right now if you want to buy IW without trading in anything, its $40 brand new, the same price Black Ops 3 is at the moment. Every AAA game that has come out since September are all $60 still with IW being the exception at $40.

If you buy the Legacy Edition, you need to have the IW disc/installed in order to play MWR even though its a separate download. They're not going to sell it standalone.
Time will tell, it's certainly not impossible for them to do so.

I imagine it depends a lot on how well it does over Christmas, if it perks up they'll have no need but if it continues to struggle the option will become more appealing.
