Aha, it would not <_<
So I'd either need to buy an adapter, which shouldn't be too bad orrrrrrrrrrrrrr this has foiled my plan.
A transformer can be kind of pricy.
Did you have to buy one when you moved to bongstantinople? >_>

There are words that I cannot hear without being triggered into violent flashbacks to a select few H scenes in Koihime Musou.
You just said two of them.
I will find you, and I will Liam Neeson you.
I'm not too sure what the second word would be, given that the sentence contains a lot of basic runewords (apart from the obvious one) but given the sounds of it, I don't want to know the context <_< But given the amount of repressing I have to do after conversations with people like you, I think that makes us somewhat even <_<

Aha, it would not <_<
So I'd either need to buy an adapter, which shouldn't be too bad orrrrrrrrrrrrrr this has foiled my plan.
You're gonna need an adapter and possibly a surge protector as well, depending on the voltage of your blu-ray player.
Ah bloody hell, I might just have to save up for the region free one then ;_;
All this faff ontop of having to have it shipped across the world is helping my decision <_<
They're really not that expensive though. A surge protector won't cost you more than 10£ (and might not even be necessary, just look at the UK voltage and the one on your blu-ray player) and US to UK adapters are like 5 a piece.
oh Hmm, well I might give it a bit more of a look. It would be extortionate to buy one in the UK <.<

Hokai to hopefully address all of desty's points;
I've got UK region bluray capabilities and content, that is all fine. I have US region bluray content and future content I wish to buy, but I need a bluray player with US region capabilities.
Region Coding exists because of the jews who run the NWO and enjoy making it inconvenient for me to watch chinese cartoons and serial killer TV shows in my own home without streaming them via VPNs/stramsites.
But yeah, I don't intend to buy Asia region content (no eng subtitles if it's not a worldwide release) so I wouldn't need a gookblurayplayer I'd just need a yank one and then I'm set.
"the only region free bluray player is £200 on amazon it'd be cheaper to just import a yank bluray player since they are like $50."
In this statement, you say that a universal one costs £200, so you're going for the american one, which costs £50.
Is the thing about the universal one a platitude?
A comparison, the cost of importing an american bluray player is significantly cheaper than buying a region free bluray player from a UK retailer.
Then if there's no chance that you're buying a universal one from a UK retailer or not, it's more of a rant seeing as how it's not going to shift any decisions. You're set on buying a blu ray that works with america.
Don't think I'm attacking you with my pedantry, it's just how I am as a person.
The title of the thread is me saying I'm intending to buy a bluray player from the states, and asking if anyone has any recommendations <.<

A blue ray player is a blue ray player. You'll be fine just buying the cheapest one you can find with a recognizable brand
If I was buying a UK one I'd do that, but since I wouldn't really be able to return it to the manufacturer should something go awry I'd like the most reliable one that people know of since the reviews seem to be russian roulette on amazon anyway.

Xbox One has Blu ray, doesn't it?
REGION CODING
Let me get this straight.
He lives in the green zone, but got his Xbox One from another zone, so he wants a bluray that works with every zone, because limiting it to his zone alone isn't for him?
If that's the case, then he buys his blu ray discs online as well.
Alright, now I get it.
Yeah, so my xbone is UK and my bluray player is UK and most of my blurays are UK too. However I have some US blurays and I want to buy more (because it's cheaper/only available there) via amazon.com as opposed to amazon.uk. I'm green, I want orange.

Long story short, I hate region coding and since the only region free bluray player is £200 on amazon it'd be cheaper to just import a yank bluray player since they are like $50.
So, can anyone recommend a bluray player make/model? etc and bonus points if it is one that amazon will ship across the atlantic <_<

It's somewhat unorthodox but it's becoming more and more common now courtesy of grenade buffs.
BF4, You need two/three friends to do it depending on the combo
Dante's Inferno -Smoke -Flares -Incendiaries
Lob them all into a hallway/building that you want to clear the enemy out of, they tend to get confused and start ambling around in the smoke looking for you and that's when you run in with IRNV shotguns and mow them down <_< That's if the incendiaries don't do the work for you >_>
Epileptic Bane Similar to the above, but basically flares and flashbangs. Sit on a pile of ammo crates with a couple of friends and just throw and throw and throw and throw those two items at the enemy (Lockers is best for this one) until they an hero.

Hmm well I used to bake cakes when I was a little tiny bastard, but that doesn't really count because cooking with mum/grandparents = stir the mix and wait for the cake to eat.
Then when I had to start looking after my little brothers (about 10 years ago) I had to start cooking food for them so that's how I started off cooking properly. Then for a while it was just microwave meals because I stopped giving a shit, nowadays I cook rarely but it's reasonably edible if I do say so myself. I just don't have the energy or inclination to do so at home, so I usually just cook for my grandparents when I visit them.

I'm foreseeing a shit-ton of headlessness in these maps. It'll be quiet as hell most of the game until someone bumps into another and they start blindfiring in the dark.
Still, it beats BF3's "night maps". All they were was a deeper tint of blue everywhere:
Now there's an actual use for flashlights and IR scopes other than just to fuck with people.
Actually IRNV/FLIR sights mixed with smoke grenades are pretty much the most effective combination in the game since they nerfed the Mavmortar. Although as tru and lc can attest, Smoke/Flashbang/Flare Shotgun zergrush is borderline undefeatable <_<

If you are cold you can stick a jumper on, if you are baking you can't just peel off a layer of flesh to cool down. Oh wait, that's just the silly patriarchal air conditioning companies talking again. We had all better check our metabolic privileges

Battlefield more like DLC..field?
It's free though, like the last DLC <.<
What was the last dlc? The big update you mean?
The weapon crate DLC, I think they just bundled it with the update though.
Weapon crate dlc? I seem to have missed this or just not noticed
Hmm well they didn't do a great job of making the guns obvious, they added the L86A2, GROZA 1 GROZA C(?) Mares Leg and something else that's slipping my mind because I'm an idiot.
Ohhhhhh those, I just thought they were part of the update as a way to reward players for sticking through such a mess
Well they sort of were lol, the free DLCs they are throwing out at the moment/in the near future are a thank you to the playerbase for sticking with the game despite it's rough launch/rocky beginnings/mediocre middles and now it's starting to be the game it should have been at launch.
