Depending on how genuine it is, I'd put money on it simply being mental illness.
If someone is doing it to fit in with other otherkin, lord knows why, but that wouldn't really be eligible. Just retarded.
However if someone genuinely believes they are a Dog trapped in a human body, or whatever creature/supernatural being they think they are then that is just screaming delusional/psychotic disorder.
So yeah it's downright silly but I wouldn't just sling abuse at them for being morons if they can't exactly help it.

I used to be a lot more volatile with games, but thankfully I've calmed down a fair bit lately. The most irritable I get is more just venomous salty rather than full blown allahu akbar.
That being said, the last game that actually made me irritated to the point of not playing was Wolfenstein. I decided to play through it on the Uber difficulty from the get go because ayy lmao and christ on a cross there were a couple of levels where the bullshit was unreal.

Waifu Card Collector 2015 Well not quite but it's an FTP mobile game that came out in japan recently so you play it through an emulator or with some sort of region dodging app (idk) and you basically collect different servants and use them like pokemon to fight other servants and monsters >_> Not all of the servants are in it yet though, but a fair few of the best ones are. Like Gilles de Rais as a Sabre and as a Caster <_< Then you have ones like Alexander the Short and some Chinese boat lady (LC and Yutaka's waifus, shit tier compared to gilles) and erm you play through these various places killing stuff and losing all of your jewstars to the lottery machine which gives you nothing but craft essences (borderline useless) and shit-tier waifu cards <_< It's fun though.
