Fans aren't necessarily the mouthbreathers I'm referring to, it's the audience they want to cater to - to get them to buy the game.

I know what you meant, I'm just saying that I don't think their attempts are particular successful.

No one is going to spend $60 just because a few characters are oversexualised.

Okay, maybe not "no one", but very few people.
Depends on the market really, in the west it probably won't but in Japan?
There was something either yutaka or byrne said the other day about how an MMO was saved (financially) by adding swimsuit skins or something to that effect because of the sheer amount of shite that the japs bought to do with the skins.

Which isn't an uncommon theme when you look at how japanese merchandising goes.

If you want to appeal to the west, add gore.
If you want to appeal to the east, add bewbs.

Because mouthbreathers buy it, simple as that.

To be honest I don't really think they do.

I mean sure there's a few buyers like that, but the fans of the series are fans of the series for the combat, not the tits.

My point being that it can stand on it's combat alone without resorting to degradation.

The same kind of people who buy alcohol because the commercial had bewbs in it.
It's classical conditioning for mongrels, mongrels like their lewd and thus by pairing a 'neutral' stimulus with a positive one - the neutral one becomes positive.

Or in simple terms, sex sells - unfortunately.

If you taped a pair of bewbs onto the BO3 box, sales would double.

Clinical Psychologist is the goal, when I get there I'm not entirely sure what the next step would be but there are a few areas of specialisation that have piqued my interest <.<

Complex Trauma/PTSD/Personality Disorders in one convenient, soul destroying specialisation.

Oh look, more shite.

Anyone want to place bets on if Sony manages a worse line up?
It's like a reverse competition to release the worst months possible.

Although, sony is gonna have to step it down a notch to beat pool nation for... three months was it?

shut your whore mouth

pool nation fx is amazing

I feel like I'm the only one here who couldn't give less of a shit about his health.
Well that was my stance up until I ended up borderline crippled.

So I'd say finding a happy middle ground is a good idea.

I thought Verb was a shoe-in.

I don't even know Kitsune and I just got to know Kupo. Whatever, congrats to both I guess.

Verb certainly was considered, especially seeing as how he's made something of a turnaround of late. I'm sure people will understand that a little bit of wanting to see if that remains the case before making any staff appointments isn't exactly unreasonable.

So basically keep up the Verb 2.0 and you've got a pretty decent shot in the next hypothetical round >.>

If anyone has questions and the like, just fire away because this isn't meant to be some super shady secret modsmodsmods stuff. If however you still feel extra salty for whatever reason, please send your messages to Grandma who will give you a hug and a cookie and probably a slap too.

Since being open is a good thing and all that, we tried to pick monitors who would be friendly faces on the site as opposed to moderator material for shaping/conditioning and all that shady stuff that goes on in the super secret evil base.

On the whole you loveable bastards are fairly well behaved nowadays so getting some cheerful chaps to help flag up the odd rouge thread and answer questions is what we were looking for >.>

This is a ruse, right?

No.
So.... we pick the guy who left for weeks then came back to only memepost and go "rood"?
Whilst that was considered, what outweighed that was Kupo being a part of the community for a long time prior to that (Bnet as well as septagon from the early days) Taking a break from the forums in the grand scheme of things isn't something that invalidates someone as a candidate (especially seeing as how a good chunk of the staff have died/vanished for longer than that at a time) <.<

But I mean, if you want to take the phrase at utter face value and ignore the subtleties of the differences between transgenderism and a psychotic disorder then have at it.

Winter, because I like the cold far more than I like the heat.

I'm more inclined to go out and about when the air is subzero than if it's 30 celcius.

Depending on how genuine it is, I'd put money on it simply being mental illness.

If someone is doing it to fit in with other otherkin, lord knows why, but that wouldn't really be eligible. Just retarded.

However if someone genuinely believes they are a Dog trapped in a human body, or whatever creature/supernatural being they think they are then that is just screaming delusional/psychotic disorder.

So yeah it's downright silly but I wouldn't just sling abuse at them for being morons if they can't exactly help it.
How is this logically any different than claiming you're a woman trapped in a man's body?
Because a human is one species and a dog is another. It isn't possible for a human (i.e Homo Sapiens Sapiens) to internally be a Dog (Canis Familaris). What is possible is for a human's developmental cycle to be bollocked up by hormones or external chemicals, their early formative years to be ripe for priming the difference and for them to accept it.

Obviously they aren't literally a woman trapped in a man's body, that is a turn of phrase to describe that their psychological gender alignment/identification does not match that of their physical body.

But I mean, if you want to take the phrase at utter face value and ignore the subtleties of the differences between transgenderism and a psychotic disorder then have at it.
