Alright I'm done playing whack-a-mole now, the next derailing post is gonna get a warning.
Shit, I didn't see this.
Yeah it's fine, that's why I just deleted it rather than hand out the warning.

We might be nazis, but we'll give people a chance to hear the warning shot so to speak.

To wipe out weebs, you must start with America.
They created the current epidemic by dropping the two nukes, then the infection has already taken hold of it's citizens.

The only solution to the problem, is for japan to become stronk again and start taking over the rest of Asia.

Except for the Orks, Chaos, Nids, and Necrons.
Orks and IoM have fought for longer than Chaos have been trouble in the galaxy, Nids are beatable but they broke the fluff with the tip of the spear stuff, necrons have always been the game enders.

And they can all stand against the might of the IoM.

If the Tau were larger they probably could too, but when was the last time the Tau got a proper bit of fluff?
Stand against it, sure. They don't last when the sledgehammer starts to beat against their skulls though, the IoM never runs out of bodies to throw into the meatgrinder of victory.

Probably when the Damocles crusade ended, the tau started suing for ceasefire talks with the IG who were quite content to just slowly grape the tau back to their home planet. Then the nids turned up at macragge and they went 'oh, right well maybe we should stop wasting time with the blue space monkeys and go fight a more dangerous foe'

Now the two kind of just glare at each other, the IoM is busy with other priorities and the tau doesn't want to get itself noticed by senpai as a bigger threat than the usual fare because that's game over for them.

The implication of larger being that they'd have a similar industrial capacity of the IoM. Cause right now they're kinda like the most neglected faction.

That'll never happen though because the fig buying neck beards would flip shit if anyone other than a big bad was able to challenge the IoM. That and they don't want the IoM to have to sit back and question if a society run by ultra right wing religious zealots and corrupt military officials is viable in the long term.

Cause you know, I think it might be a little bit better if 40k fluff was more than Mary-sue, Gary-stu, and Edgy McRetard battles with the occasional dose of we totally aren't doing this because we just got legally ass raped.

However, rejoice in the fact that your precious monkeys will forever be lost in the stalemate. Nothing they gain cannot be retaken, they might take three steps forwards and then a hundred back when the hammer comes to play.

Rejoice that the imperium allows the tau to live, because they aren't worth the attentions of the superior species.

Oh lawd this sounds like the eldar.

ew

That's what happens when you allow the IoM to go unchallenged by anytime other than the big bad.

They become pompous self righteous pricks. Elevating the status of the Tau if the only way to keep that in check. They need a friendly rival to let them know when they're full of themselves and going to far.
Well I wouldn't say unchallenged, they are at war 24/7 with everything in the universe.

The size of the tau empire in comparison is laughable really, they have a cluster of systems near ultramar. Ultramar itself is larger than the Tau septs combined iirc <_<

Typical IG banter aside, if there are any aliens half worth not annihilating it's probably the space monkeys. At least until the admech figures out why they have a negative warp presence as a species <_<

Phone auto corrected anything to anytime for some reason so it completely changed the meaning of my post.

But yeah, it's like the Tau were introduced as this new fledgling empire that could possibly give the IoM a run for its money by absorbing IoM worlds diplomatically instead of militarily and then were forgotten by the fluff writers. I'm not a fig man so you'll have to answer this one for me. Are the Tau just a really underplayed faction or something?
Actually with the lastest/more recent (I forget which) rule iteration they suddenly ruined the game balance again so people are making Allied armies out of Tau and Eldar. Eldar have some of the best CQB units and the Tau have some of the best ranged units. You mix the two into a unified force because of their allegiance matchup and suddenly it's a rapetrain to rival the necrons.

5352
You're awfully rambly, though. You probably could've made your points in one or two paragraphs. Jus' sayin.
There is nothing wrong with saying something that should take one sentence in the form of several extended run on sentences that don't appear to have any actual point other than just typing and typing because this is how I would ordinarily talk in the real world.

Especially when asked about something in particular to ramble about and I assure you that this post has nothing at all to do with a tongue in cheek drag-it-out post just to prove a point.

Seriously, if you ever talk to Psy he had a tendency to ramble and go off topic with little details. Especially if you get him going on something like 40k.

Psy tell me about 40K plz
I shall, but not in here >_>

Make a thread in the flood tomorrow and quote me in it, then you will have opened the floodgates.

Not sure if the "Friend :)" thing is a really good idea. All it does is give the word a negative connotation by its very nature.
It's kind of a joke really, friend is already the defacto non-insult that people use when they are being facetious.

'Okay friend'

'that's nice friend'

etc

In all likelihood it'll just be a post removal and a slap.

You should be writing this stuff in actual nip Psy. Ditch the romaji and see what happens.
Then the number of people who have a chance at responding dwindles to near zero ;_;

I mean if you wanna do a genuine rune thread I'll all for it but afaik there is neko and um... you sort of for hiragana rune reading but for full on gookspeak? <_<

I mean I'd be over the moon if anyone actually spoke it well enough to rune jabber but sadly I think there aren't many/any.

I could read the characters. Couldn't hope to translate it though.
Ahh yeah, well if you do get around to learning full gook then jabber away at me sometime >_>

Well I mean I never left left, I just um, haven't been online since... june probably <_<

It's a bit hard to do so cause the only online games I'd do on the PS4 are BF4 and Density. I couldn't bring myself to pay 40 for a dlc, so I could stomach buying the whole game again for another plat with errything etc but yeah. If TTK reduces on the peeshfore I'll maybe come back and become even more legender.

But now it's a bit... hmm

I'm hoping the moral choices aren't as shallow as the objectively good choice and objectively evil choice. FNV had some decent choices i.e. Hard Luck Blues.
Judging from Bethesda's last game, Skyrim, things will still probably be pretty black and white.
We can hope that if they do factions properly, there might be a chance of a less binary game but ehh. They might really be stacking down on the story narrative of the good lone survivor man who doesn't afraid of anything.

The Flood / Re: Interviews
« on: October 18, 2015, 05:03:24 PM »
Hmm I've had two interviews in this unit's life so far.

The first one was to get a place on a work experience course at a hospital in high school, quite how the fuck I managed to get on amazes me because that was some watamote tier shit that went on in there. I can only assume the guy doing the interview saw something half decent in me or the other candidates were absolute garbage.

The second interview I did which was for my current job went a lot more smoothly, it was a bit nerve wracking because follow this quick flow chart
Spoiler
Finish school > fall ill > end up really quite ill > basically dying > borderline psychotic > depressed and anxious to high hell > get a bit better > repeat last step for 12 months > still basically watamote > go for job interview > oh god help

And I was already on the wrong foot because instead of being a sit down interview in an office, it was let's go outside and just chat because it's a nice day. 'oh'
They asked me questions, detailed the job and asked a few other ones and to my credit I didn't come off as a complete nervous wreck.

After the interview, they said they were quite pleased/impressed but they had to interview the other candidates anyway so they'd let me know.

Fast forward a few weeks and they've been ringing me on the phone which is actually broken saying 'do you want the job or not?'

;___________;

as soon as I found that out I went straight round to the shop and said what had happened and they were quite understanding.

Another few weeks and I get a knock at the door, it's the shopkeeper asking if I want the job and I start tomorrow btwthanksbai.

And now the job is going peachy and I'm happy/confident again.

So

tl;dr points of advice etc

1. Try to be as calm as you can be, don't stress the interview and just take it as it comes. If you go in fretting and gibbering, it won't go in your favour.
2. Make sure that the contact details you give them work, if that doesn't really apply then gg anyway but jesus don't do what I did and give them the number for a broken phone ;_;

About the whole weaknesses sort of question, I'd just go with something simple and above all honest. ''I'm not great at maths'' or something along those lines. Nothing that would really get in the way of your working for them, but something normal and human.

and yeah just make a throwaway skype for the occasion >_>

Thank you for your detailed and comprehensive answer. I will gladly take your advice. I wish you great luck and chance with your current job and make hope for good promotion.
Sankyu mister beetle

However this job is not the sort to provide promotions really, not the kind I'd pursue at least. I'll be working here for a little while longer then I need to move into a psychology related profession (entry level of course)

Good luck with your interview too <.<

1. Try to be as calm as you can be, don't stress the interview and just take it as it comes. If you go in fretting and gibbering, it won't go in your favour.
2. Make sure that the contact details you give them work, if that doesn't really apply then gg anyway but jesus don't do what I did and give them the number for a broken phone ;_;

About the whole weaknesses sort of question, I'd just go with something simple and above all honest. ''I'm not great at maths'' or something along those lines. Nothing that would really get in the way of your working for them, but something normal and human.

and yeah just make a throwaway skype for the occasion >_>
