Trouble is, I don't want one made out of that ghastly fabric material OR one made out of shitty hologram plastic.
Stuff makes my skin crawl whenever I touch it.
The last mat I had was fine, it was a brite-mat made out of cardboard so I got another one but the design on it sends the mouse spazzing all over the damn place in certain areas.
So
Anyone know of a good mousemat brand/type that has a nice flat texture to it? Like, no noise if you scratch it (the best I can describe it).

Far less people have died under fascist governments, fact.

This. We try to keep some standard in Serious, but it's pretty clear that unless you're on a strict politics forum there's going to be banter and serious topics will be discussed in a non-serious way.
Still, I might be inclined to agree that allowing clear shitposting alts in Serious is stretching it. Maybe we should put it to a vote in Flood?
I'd say if they are at least in the general direction of politics, it's fine.

The idea came from a conservative blogpost on how the GOP could get Mexico to pay for it. The fact that Paul Ryan has not acknowledged any specifics on the spending leads people to speculate that there is no plan for Mexico to recoup us the cost.
Isn't the idea to get it started with US funds and then recoup the costs from mexico via outgoing transactions (I forget the term you guys use for it) and the aid budget, if they won't pay up? Deci, in the last two and a half years this has happened endless times. We (the mods) and me (personally) have tried to help you with this, but it has been utterly fruitless. Unless you, yourself, can change things then no matter what we do it will be for naught. Take an example from Donaldus Rex, don't let the little people drag you down no matter what shit they try to throw at you and focus on your goals.
