The graphics look fine, I mean the only thing I'd say I'm not overly fond of is some of the textures seem monocoloured but that's either intentional or pre-release footage.
Just stuff like the side of a terminal, desk, paper and the like seemed a bit - eh.

So I had a giggle just now.
I've been roaming around in a suit of outcast armour because it looks cool e.e
And it's close enough to Skitarii as you are going to get in Fallout but
I went to talk to Casdin to turn in some tech and he said something I've never heard before
to the effect of
'i see you have a suit of our power armour there, I'm sure you just happened to find it out in the wastes (sarcasm dripping) so I'll take that off your hands and you can be on your way'
I thought it was a joke but i hit RB and boom. There i am starkers outside fort independence.
If I didn't like the armour so much I wouldn't have reloaded a save but god damn it made me laugh.
This is one of the things I love so much about this game, even after all these years and hundreds of hours of playtime - there is still shit that genuinely surprises me/that I haven't seen before.

Well that's not all that surprising, the family who owns and runs this store and a few others too are indian. But I live in a pretty white area, so all of the staff in the shop are limey bastards like me.
There was a conversation between my boss and a retired old man who used to run a shop, the old guy was saying to the effect of ''thank god for you indian chaps, because none of the natives here have got the backbone to run local shops anymore. Nobody wants to get up at 4am and go to bed at midnight every day of the week, work 6am to 10pm shifts and the like''
It was quite interesting to hear really, and it rang true because the other local shop that was run by natives was a complete shambles. They opened when they felt like it and closed early because they were bored, the shop was always out of essentials and rammed with 300 kinds of £5 jam.

I started at Primark today and after reading my induction book I must say its a GREAT. PLACE. TO. WORK. I repeat: IT'S. GREAT.
That's the spirit! I do run into that a lot at work, the half arsed job some of the student labour pool does of things. After they'd trained me for a week I ended up being sent to clean up after everyone else. Make sure things were done properly and all that. I mean, it's kinda embarrassing when your boss drags you and a co-worker to the section you've just done to point out that's how things are meant to be done.

It's been about two years for the PS4's PS+ games collection.
I've found two of them to be even worth downloading, and I've played one of those.
I'm kind of used to the GWG/PS+ free games being uninteresting at this point, I barely even bother checking the videos.

A little unrelated but it reminds me of a psychology 'experiment' a few years ago where two married psychs adopted a chimpanzee as a newborn because the mother rejected it. They raised it and aside from a few expected issues, it all worked fine. The problem came about when the meatbags made a little meatbag and the chimp got pissy, given that they have quite a bit of strength and some sharp bloody teeth - the heartless bastards sent it off to a sanctuary to protect their little meatbag.

The workers need practical jobs and skills for a trade, the academics need to not be held back by the gumby of the classroom. But how are you going to categorize the two without coming off as extremely classist? Not every working class student who can barely afford a pair of Filas is going to necessarily be gifted in handiwork, and likewise, not every upperclass toff who relies on daddy to pay for everything is going to be a sublime academic.
That would have been the point of the 11+ exam, which had it's flaws certainly but it could have been improved rather than scrapped. The academic skill of the child is tested, if they are good with their books they go to a grammar if they are better with their hands they go to a technical college. Of course those born with a silver spoon in their arsehole will go to private schooling anyway, it's just for filtering middle/lowers really. You get the brightest stars from the lower and the best from the middle, the rest go off to techni to stop saturating the graduate market with bloody liberal arts.

You work hard, you do your studying and you put school above football/drinking with your lads or whatever the fuck they do nowadays - and you will do fine.
We should have brought back the grammar schools a long time ago, trying to shovel every kid through the same system doesn't bloody work. The workers need practical jobs and skills for a trade, the academics need to not be held back by the gumby of the classroom.

That would have been me ordinarily. It's probably just to do with schooling, I have next to no sympathy for the [Insert term to describe Dalit here] who made schooling tedious. The lessons moved at a snail's pace because of catering to the undesirables who had no interest in it anyway. I'd have loved to be filtered off into a grammar school at 11, rather than spending four years in mixed ability classrooms.
