OT: I'm not going to be upgrading from 7. When I get a new PC I imagine there won't be much of a choice to stick Win7 on it so I'll go with 10 then, but eh.

Welcome to my kind of hell, I have a parcel here from GAME that is sat by my desk.

The order number on it is similar to the printed out order sheet I have here, but it's not addressed to me it's addressed to the cardholder ;-;

I have to wait for them to ring me back so I can badger them like kotori until they let me open it.

It might be a bobblehead e.e.e.e.e.e.e.e

Face your fear.
This is one of the funniest moments in all those movies.
I always laugh here. Always.

OT: Everyone's pretty much covered it, I think.
Oh wait...
Spoiler

Remember these now exist???
Those things are going to make my skin crawl.

They look too much like daddy long-legs / cranefly. Ugh.
At least in fallout you can use a flamethrower, it would be problematic to use one of them in my bedroom.

People in real life call you Psy?

Or do you just spend too much time on the internet?
The latter.

Um, they did.

Halo 3 had the Covenant as a mission. That was hands down the most fun mission in any halo game ever. Two. Scarabs.

Reach had the best story narrative, the slow demise of your squad whilst you try to save the planet ;-;7 RIP remember reach never 5get.
One mission does not save it from a shitty plot full of holes.

While it had a good narrative (that butchered previously established lore), it had bland characters, bland settings and annoying squad AI.
I don't see any plotholes in the story.
You land on earth after halo 2, you link up with the friendly elites and shoot your way to the main base for the humans. You then help the humans on earth whilst the covvies dig up the keyship, which opens the portal to the ark. You go to the ark, stop them making more halo rings and the flood arrive to fuck shit up. You beat them all, escape but get cut off by the explosions/portal and go to sleep.
>how the fuck did high charity fit through the portal
>why didn't truth take any humans through the portal even though he needed humans to activate halo
>why did the humans follow truth even though they knew he needed humans to activate halo
>why did master chief opt to venture into the flood hive alone despite being shit scared of the flood
>why was arbiter's character completely sidelined despite being present in all the game's major events
>why was miranda keyes so fucking retarded the entire game especially that part where she crashes a pelican alone into the citadel to stop truth rather than just using the pelican's gun to shoot everyone in there sacrificing johnson
>why does the first half of halo 3 not even have a plot
>http://images.rapgenius.com/af05d8e7b5e8f2b82c740e1a038efef5.336x248x317.gif

except the thing is they already had the keyship. it was the portal they wanted to find but they already knew the location of it. all you do in the first half is shoot covies and blow up an AA gun, nothing of merit happens within those first few missions
Oh, same shit different name.

It's been years since I played it anyhoo.

So weren't you taking out the AA gun so the UNSC could try and mac round the shit out of the ship or something?
The idea is to destroy the dreadnaught, but they don't.
Well they aren't just gonna sit back and say ho hum, you have to try even if you fail <_<
The point is is that it's not a particularly good or eventful story. The first four missions don't really contribute much to the story.
Well yeah it wasn't the best story, that belongs to Reach.

It's a bit weird that I hear Psy more than I hear Sean but eh, doesn't really bother me.
I've been trying to get my IRL friends to call me Sol, but there's no unawkward way to tell everyone you want to go by a different name.

Or maybe that's just me being shy.
Eh there isn't really <.<

One of my friends changed his name... sort of... it didn't really work because it was just too weird to call someone something you've known them as for almost 10 years another completely new name.

So the group of us kinda just stumbled around between the two then gave up, and that was just with his middle name <.<

It's more trouble than it's worth unless you are going the whole hog with legal name changes and keep to it yourself for years to come.

They've still fucked up with my pre-order though. Had to get my address deliver changed and that required them cancelling the current order and starting a new one, except this new one costs £83.32 rather than the £79.99 it should have cost. Haven't bothered asking about it because I just can't be arsed with them anymore. And it's only an extra £3-£4 so it's not that big a deal.
Egh, wait that's for the pipboy edition?

<_<

Jews charged me £99.99
what the fuck, it costs me 120
Bong money is more valuable than yank money you see, 120 dollars is close enough to 100 bong but the exchange rates keep fluctuating.

So for once we are paying about the same things on either side of the pond.

Usually we just get wallet raped by it though, $60 =/= £55
yeah but Ithought $120 usd was  £110?
100 gbp = 150 USD

so yeah we are still getting raped with the conversion rates.

I dunno, but I am leaving this site before my 25th birthday if it lasts that long.

I don't want to end up a weirdo like Chakas and Charlie who are full grown adults still posting on forums filled with teenagers.

Yeah but Jim. Everybody here is aging as well.

You'll be posting on a site filled with crusty old fucks.

It'll be like that one restaurant where all the old guys hang out.
We'll all grow old and miserable together.

I can't really imagine what an old weeb is like, honestly. I don't think they exist yet. Weebs are too new of a cultural phenomenon.

It'll be interesting to see in the future. That or 10x worse because it's a crusty old fuck instead of an angsty bundle of hormones and chemicals.
I think we've got about 10 years to wait and then we see what happens, the hikkikomori timebomb in grorious nippon is going to explode in the next decade when all the parents die off.

I'd hate to be a gook when that happens.

As for the wibblies on here, I'm not really sure. People change as life goes on, some hobbies/interests die as others come in to replace them. I imagine there will come a day when there isn't a single chinese cartoon left that interests me, but as long as there is that one gory show airing each season I might survive ;-;

I don't have one in mind, I'll be here as long as I'm happy to be.

I don't want to jinx it but I actually said the same thing about a month before I left B.net for here, that I wasn't intending to go anywhere for the forseeable future.

But they shit the bed repeatedly and I prefer my time here far more than I ever did on Bnet. So unless cheat brings in a b.linding reddit update and makes people pay amazon dollars to post in certain boards, I don't see myself disappearing anytime soon.

Voluntarily that is, I mean if I finally crack and get carted off to a hospital then that'll be bye bye desu for psy.

<_<

Jews charged me £99.99
£20 deposit has already been taken.
Ahh yeah, I forgot about that.
