Ah that's good

best way to stick it to grandma tbh, the miserable old bat.

I guess if I actually hated verb that would be a good way to do it. But the two of us managed to have conversations just fine on discord and bungle. Like verb said, it was like he wasn't even banned over the last month (at least for those who use the discord he's in and use bungle).

lol

As I said before, who are you trying to convince here?

nobody really, just statin stuff dude. givin a bit of info. don't know why you want to be antagonistic over this.
maybe if i talk all real casual like it'll make it seem like i dont care as much you know fam tbh

Or are you being attacked again? ://///////////////////////////

So how did you spend your time this last month?
not a lot, but i got some more personal writing done which is nice

found myself a job recently that'll allow me to work from home, which is even better

got back together with my old streaming buddies and did some speedruns and "random game-a-thons" at twitch--we still can't break 20 viewers, but we're working on building a consistent schedule

but mostly, the time i would've spent here was mostly spent on discord and bungle

also lurking

Was it LC that said we were on track on beating last years January post count? Unless we can get another 15k posts in the next 10 hours, that would be incorrect.
Yeah

I said it was fucking stupid to try and say banning verb was boosting the postcount, and oh look - it made no difference.

i never said that but ok

How much time is left of his ban?
I think Psy mentioned his ban was reduced to a month (would be nice if a mod could confirm) so he'll be back on 2 February.
It should be, if it's not by then i'll remove it manually
EARLY PAROLE
I'd be game but the yellow perils would likely throw a fit.

I wouldn't say I am.

Maybe a couple of years ago, but these days I'm not.
I was on the fence a little before this meme of an election, but after seeing what kind of horseshit the left has been pulling to try to stop drumpf xd and the toxic bloody atmospheres at universities... yeaaaah no. I'm not game with that kind of degeneracy.
Nothing like reactionary politics.
What do you mean?
You don't know what being reactionary is?
I hear it used a lot, but as far as I understand it's far-right conservatism, hence my asking.
I wouldn't have said I'm far-right at all (outside of deus vulting), I'm just pretty sickened by the way things have been going in the last few years.

Unless that's what you mean, in which case I'd say it fits that definition.
The problem here is that you're basing what you believe on the way others act.

What's right is right, no matter what every other human is doing.
Hm, I wouldn't say that's the case really.

Over some things, yes, the actions of others have shaped the way I view stuff like free speech. I used to give zero fucks about it, after seeing how certain people have tried to restrict what is and isn't acceptable to talk about (to them) and apply it on a wider level - it does matter to me.

The fundamental rights and wrongs haven't changed for me, just some of the more nominally political stuff.
I don't know, dude. You seem to be falling for all this right wing bullshit.
Honestly a lot of it is memery, the stuff about journalists less so mind you.

If the news had been marginally less autistic throughout the whole of 2016, I doubt I'd even care about it. It's just tiresome seeing nothing but slanderous horseshit being peddled 24/7 by the big outlets.
Slanderous in regards to
Trump is the slanderous part, sure there's plenty of legitimate problems but they keep going for the dirty plays, with little regard to how true they might be.

It's the reporting of terror attacks that really pissed me off though, if you remember the shit over cologne and how the news and police tried their best to cover that up?
I think you're just kind of buying into this victim complex of the right.
Eh, I don't know.

I see shit like that dossier from a few weeks ago, where some asshat on pol made up a bit of fanfiction, getting published and reported on and it's hard to think they are doing a good job of checking their sources.

It's easy enough to do, especially today.

There's enough variety and choice out there to keep it interesting.
it's actually much easier than I thought it would be. At first it was slightly difficult to come up with food to make, but it's not actually objectively more complicated, just different to what I'm used to.

Today I made a lasagna with aubergine, spinach, zucchini and mushrooms.
Yeah, you can do quite a lot without meat really.

The substitutes are pretty good these days too, Quorn and the like. That way you can make whatever meat dish you'd normally do, but with myco instead. Some work better than others mind you, I wouldn't try to make beef bourginon with myco.
