because japanese people are genetically incapable of doing good voice acting, period
but i'm in it for the authenticity, because
1. dubs often contain gratuitous censorship which is bad
2. there are certain puns that only work in japanese that i'd miss out on
You know you have a point, Japanese people come off as autistic in their voice acting. I don't know if it's because I don't understand the language at all and how words should sound and all that shit, but the majority of the time it's just weird.
For example in Ninja Gaiden 2 here
I've played through this game a million times in both English and Japanese, and the English voice acting is just better. The "I don't care" in this scene is so much more badass compared to Japanese where the same line is muttered.
I'd say it's 50/50 on that You have some great voice actors in grorious nippon, that sound anything but autistic. Then you have plenty of stammering kawaii sugoi fodder as well. Knowing the language does help it sound less homogeneous though, it's one of those developed listening things you get with any language really. I'm sure turkish would sound a lot less burping and vomiting if I knew how to speak it.

Yeah, sort of. If you have android you need qoo app, which is some chinese apk forwarder for the west. It looks dodgy but so far no problems with it. You then type in fate and click on the grand order icon and it'll install. Pretty big and p h a t game but if you have a fairly recent phone or tablet it'll be fine. sort of Illya is a money-cow, so she isn't available to get often. Kiritsugu is in, but elusive. Emiya you can start with if you remake accounts enough times (or just get lucky with your starting kit). Irisviel will probably turn up in the summer again when they rerun the f/0 event. I think the burnt loli is gonna be a year or so away for the event rerun of loliconfeminist candyland or whatever they called it (illya event) So you can get them all, it'll just take a while.

i hope part of the reason it's taking so long for them to even hint at the fact they're making a TES6 is because they're going to be using a new and better engine for it.

Yeah, Fallout 3 came out in 2008 and they announced Skyrim in 2010. I think they might take the Fallout 4 approach with the new Elder Scrolls and announce/show it when it's very close to coming out. As for this year, I really REALLY hope we get that new Fallout announcement. Idk.

Another Fallout so soon released would just kill my interest in the series, even moreso if it was a hunk of crap/the majority of the entertainment relied on Sims: Wasteland Edition.
New Vegas came out 2 years after Fallout 3, so we could get an announcement at E3 and have it drop next Fall.
Shit. Somehow I feel like I got more out of Fallout 3 up to the release of NV than from the release of Fallout 4 until now.
Same It's a bit of a bummer, because I find myself wanting to play it and then just... bleh It's the dialogue that killed it for me, it's impossible to make a character outside of HERETOHELP or Tony Snark. Hopefully they've learned from it for the next game, because everything else is great.
