Honestly I think your faggot sibling needs to pick up the slack.
Would you like living with your grandparents? How would your father feel about this?
I would dearly love the little bastard to do so, or at the very least stop causing so much other shit for the family with his endless stupidity. We got rid of one problem by shipping him off to mother's, and now this retard decides he's going to step up to the plate in the degeneracy olympics.
I'd love to live there honestly.
The difference it makes when you are in a home with people who genuinely appreciate things you do for them, is astounding. Here it feels more like being a caretaker in a building full of autistic chimpanzees.
The only problem with me going there, is that shit would fall apart in the asylum. The dogs would never get walked, barely get fed on time, let alone have any interaction from people. The grocery delivery wouldn't happen and food would quite literally fester in the fridge because they can't be fucked to throw it away.
I'm just tired of it really. Absolutely exhausted with their unhelpful selfish attitudes.
That's when you put your foot down matey. When you're doing something charitable or "nice" for somebody, or even a job in general, there's always something very important to consider. Especially if it's a job.
If somebody gives you shit, ask yourself. "Am I being paid for this?" If the answer is no, then it's time to leave. Let people fend for themselves and their own choices.
Yeah, sadly it's not so simple for family.
You bet your ass it is. Family count as people and people make their own lifestyle choices. You can either help them as much as you're able to within a rational, sane parameter, but if they aren't going to help themselves then that's on them, not you.
Hm, I suppose. It's just the rare times I need help from them that wind me up. Getting them to do anything is such an arduous and unreliable effort that it's simply easier to DIY. So the obvious answer is to stop helping them, but I've still got this automatic 'help' switch going. If someone needs a hand, the answer is yes. I know I shouldn't think like that, but I can't really help it (irony).

Any public libraries nearby you could ask if you could study in?
There was, until they closed it down. Ayy lmao
I'll use this reply to reply to the first as well.
Yeah, Kud seems to be the one who will actually have a chance lol
I feel leaving might be good, but as you said, a lot of stuff. Maybe it's just a case of having time off when you can. I'll be having time off soon.
Yeah, I think it might also be that I don't think I've had a rest since september really. Technically there was the holiday in iceland, but given who that was with and what sort of mood I was in the week afterwards... eh i wouldn't really call it de-stressing.

Well, I'm going to assume I know a bit more about your family than most here.
And from what you've told me, most, if not all but one, of your brothers are just.... useless and lazy, and your father is too passive about it. (As we confirm with Caterpillar boy.) To me, it just seems people need to pick up slack to help you and the family as a whole, or you need to get away to study, because I know how stressed you get too, I've heard it lol. -But I understand why.
If you go to the grandparents, will it be more convenient in more ways or could it prove to be a problem? You do generally present a more chilled out form when you're there, so I think it'll be a good idea. I do however, feel you need the job you're currently on and despite the boss (the other one) being a prat, it's a job you enjoy. Dropping that might not be a good idea.
Pretty much, I wish it was just me being a grouchy older sibling but it's not. They are just chronically lazy, selfish pricks, the only one with a lick of sense is kud. lol, yeah. I'm pretty sure most of the [angery] just comes from this insanity. It'd be relatively convenient, it's a long trip and I end up taking a lot of stuff with me (Crates of books, study materials etc) which is going to get bigger with not having a laptop to work on now. The PC is great and all, but it's not exactly smol. But yeah, I don't think quitting work to run away from the problems will help in the long run (as tempting as it is). I'm set to go there anyway at the end of the month, thankfully, so I'll maybe get a bit of [whoosaaaaaaaaah] time to just reduce the stress.

Sorry to hear this, dude. It's really rough when a ton of responsibility is just dumped on you, I know.
Is there any way the dogs could go with you to your grandparents house?
Thanks. It's just one of those things that you either adapt to or get crushed by, as I'm sure you know all too well. It just doesn't leave a lot of room for whimsy in your life. I wish there was, but sadly not. They drive my grandpa spare, and I can't blame him lol. They're an absolute bloody handful, which is a lot of the problem. And for every bit of training I try to give them, it gets underwritten by the laziness of the rest of the house.

Man I'd hate living at home. It's bad enough when I come back for Christmas and have to revise for January exams, almost impossible to get shit done. Living in uni accommodation makes home feel so much louder and more distracting. And family are so much more annoying.
Yeah, it has it's perks but I imagine things would be less [screeching] if I lived alone.

Never had study stress but I get you. For stretches of time back at home when I was trying to do my own thing, the one thing that pushed my buttons was interruptions. Phone calls, shit happening, problems, yada yada.
If it started pushing on me and I felt like murdering somebody I put my foot down and left for someplace quiet. And I made a point to make it known that's what my day was going to be. Reserved for me and just me.
Park out in the woods somewhere or just stop by my town's library. I guess in your case maybe stop buy a park.
That's not a bad idea actually I might just fuck off into the woods for a day, without taking the dogs. Some peace and quiet would probably help a lot. Sadly with a deadline hanging over my head like the proverbial Damocles, that might have to wait until this is done.

I imagine most of you have at some point or another, but have any of you had a lot of stress whilst trying to study? Either recently or a few years ago.
This last month has driven me up the wall, to put it mildly. The workload isn't the issue, thankfully. It's just the other pressures that are starting to make me crack.
Studying from home is a great convenience, but it's a double-edged sword for a lot of things. The biggest one that triggers the fuck out of me is distractions. Family, Pets, Deliveries and Phonecalls all the god damned time. Maybe it's that my patience for them has tanked, or this last month has been fucking insanity.
I could easily go off on one about my useless faggot siblings doing jackshit around the house, but I'd rather keep this brief.
I'm getting close to the point of quitting my job to move to my grandparents house to get away from the distractions while I finish my degree. Do any of you have advice, suggestions or anything that might help to do with this?
I am open to shooting the lot of them btw, but since this is >england it'd have to be with a nerf gun.

So now Blizard is bitching to Microsoft and Sony about people using M&K converters on console. Pussies
People shouldn't be allowed to do that on the consoles.
I don't know if you remember the XIM3 scourge in CoD from last gen, but having a repeat of that isn't good for anyone.
The thing is, the input lag on those converters is something awful from what I hear.
Got to mess around with my buddy's, there's next to no latency. It's seriously unfair.
Smash him around the head with it fam
He doesn't actually use it, no idea why he bought it in the first place.
Good, he might be spared from the wrath of pence
Oh no, not this one. Pence is going to love getting his hands on him.

Good, I hope it fries their consoles too.
It's no different from using rapidfire controllers imo, you are using 3rd party accessories to get a leg up on those you are playing with. If they want to play overwatch with a mouse and keyboard, they should play it on a fucking computer.
But Mista Psy if he did that then he'd be getting his teeth kicked in because he would be on equal grounds with everyone else

It could have been Vulkan, the perpetual. It could have been Russ, the wanderer. It could have been Jaghatai, the hunter. It could have been Corax, speedyboi extraordinaire. It could have been The Lion, although thankfully not.
but no
it has to be rowboat
for FUCKS SAKE
The most bland nonce of all 20 brothers, come to lead the imperium to victory once more. I mean, yeah it's probably the best option pragmatically speaking but it's bland as fucking hell.
Instead of the long-awaited Wolftime, we get Ultramar 2.0. Lah dee fuckin da
I think they've learned from the hate they garnered during the Matt Ward era. Rowboat, in my mind, would have among the most impact. He's the one who was all about administration, which has completely gone down the shitter since his coma. I myself have never had a problem with Robot, he was bad during the Ward era, like everything else, but since then he's gotten better. They've toned down the MarySuishness of the Ultramarines a lot.
And other Primarchs are definitely coming back. Vulcan for certain, Big Daddy Dorn hopefully, Lion El'Autistic probably, Jaghatai "Gotta Go Fast" Khan maybe. Corvus "it's not a stage dad" Corax maybe. GW has definitely seen how well HH has done and they'll seek to replicate that in 40k: they'll be bringing back all the Primarchs that make sense.
GW has also repeatedly denied that they're doing the End Times for 40k. Eighth edition is streamlining the rules (although nowhere near as much as AoS). Now, you should always take what they say with a grain of salt but AoS only did well when they came out with the generals handbook, which made things more complicated again.
Honestly, 40k is in a really good spot right now. Some armies that really needed an update have received one, and GW themselves have improved 100x since the new CEO came on board.
Don't get me wrong, I definitely see where you're coming from and share your concerns. I'm just trying to stay positive, as the constant negativity surrounding any hobby ever on the internet really gets me down
The trouble is, it's no longer post-ward. The bastard came back last year.
If they are bringing them back, those that live that is, that's good. I doubt Dorn will return, as he died-died after the heresy. The others should be fine to turn up though.
They've said it a lot, but I still trust them with their own IP less than I'd trust an 8 year old in an antiques shop.
Yeah, I do get ya. It's a lot easier for me to complain about the stuff that I don't like from GW. I'm just dreading them letting that pillock have a go at 40K again and Age of the Emperor'ing the whole thing.
Age of Sigmar is actually a good thing. And they are AoSing 8th edition rules but keeping the 6/7th edition rules for Horus Heresy era gaming.
Mortarion is the next demon primarch Dorn will be back to face off against Purturabo Lorgar will be the new big bad of chaos after Abby's death Alphy, Sang, Horus and Manus wont be returning Curze returns and gets redeemed (despite dying)
Some of this is fine, some of this is not.
Mortarion and Lorgar, that's all good.
Dorn is dead, bleeding demised, gone to join the choir invisible. So him coming back to 1v1 the siege lord (whilst cool) is a bit farfetched.
Curze's fate was and is, one of the better stories, they should leave it with him accepting his fate. 'Death is nothing compared to vindication' stops having the same ring to it when you get deus ex'd back into existence.
They only ever found Dorn's hand, so I don't see his return as super far fetched myself.
Also Abaddon's rumored death sounds hilarious. Apparently he might just be killed by Cypher with a bolt pistol shot to the head in the Emperor's throne room.
I'd find it hard to see failbaddon making it to the throneroom with his arms still intact. The idea that he actually beats cadia is laughable too, but I read something about CREEEEEED getting gibbed by Trazyn so I suppose when your baneblades stop hiding behind lampposts it gets a bit harder to cheese a victory. I did read something about the pylons though, that was always one of the more interesting things about cadia to me. Especially the idea of closing the eye with the completed geomancy.

I made up my own fanction of Space marines. They didn't believe in the emperors BS powers. They weren't chaos either
You know most Space Marine chapters don't worship the Emperor right? The Black Templars, my faction, are one of the few exceptions.
Oh really I did not know that
Well, Mr. psychologist put it better than me. Basically, most chapters worship the Emperor, but the Templars are one of the few that believe he is a god, like the common man of the imperium.
They all do though, in the 41st anyway. It was a bit late when I was memeposting away last night but I'll put it a bit more eloquently today. The fundamental belief in the Imperium is that the God-Emperor is a God and should be revered as such. This takes on many forms across cultures and systems, with weirder expressions of faith being found the further you go from terra. These different expressions trickle through to the astartes, because whilst they might be post-human they are still the emperor's chosen (indirect grandchildren). As a part of the faith that sprung up post-heresy, a lot of the local traditions were permitted to remain (think romans, christianity, pagans etc) to make compliance easier. So you have planets that worship the sun, but under the guidance of the local ministorum that is shaped into faith in the emperor as the lightbringer (to avoid feeding the wrong deity with faith, but your local pastor doesn't know this much). As for the astartes, those who don't believe the emperor is divine tend to get themselves purged by the ordos (See: penitent crusades). The well-fluffed out chapters/legions have their own original sources that they are inspired by, so you can see the links between their faith and their fluff. The templars being formed from the particularly zealous fists (iirc) after their loss of Dorn, they wanted to just go crusading around killing anything that smelled remotely heretical. So their faith is their existence. Then you have the wolves, where the Emperor is the Allfather (pretty sure they called him that pre-heresy too), and they are waiting for his resurrection to lead them to the wolftime (Ragnarok). You can look at any of the flavour-fluff from any chapter to see how they all venerate him, even if it's just down to the codex litanies and the like. tldr being, all faithful citizens of the imperium worship the emperor as a god, astartes included. It's their expression or devotion to the creed that varies from chapter to chapter.

So what the fuck did they actually do?
You're banned from sharing DVR stuff for awhile then. Either way I think it was justified.
You'd have to be dumb to think you can get away with exploits on the Xbone. The Xbone is like the 1984 of consoles currently. This isn't the 360 where you can mod it and do shit offline with it. Big brother Microsoft is always watching.
I can still share stuff though. And I wasn't banned for modding, I was banned specifically for the content of this image.

lol It's crazy how that image seems to trigger people/moderators. The marky mark one is even better

It could be that it's taking a while to kick in.

Quadmemeing
I'm pretty worried about this gathering storm shit tbh
If the absolute travesty of what they did to Warhammer is anything to go by, I'm (ironically) wishing for them to just leave 40k in it's miserable stasis.

I made up my own fanction of Space marines. They didn't believe in the emperors BS powers. They weren't chaos either
You know most Space Marine chapters don't worship the Emperor right? The Black Templars, my faction, are one of the few exceptions.
They do, just in different ways. Any chapter that spawned from the smurfs certainly will, following the holy bogroll and having Chaplains installed everywhere. The templars are just more religious about it than say, the wolves, who view him as the Allfather (Odin).
