It was pretty bland
Not a trainwreck but the highlight of the entire thing was finding out I get ark on PC for free
Really makes you think.

Bongistan doesn't have a gun problem, apart from maybe Luton (which is a wonderful piece of (((coincidence))) all on it's own) and instead they just use knives or cars or pressure-cookers.
At some point you have to realise that banning shit isn't going to stop this, you have to tackle the source. And no that doesn't mean turn the slav up to 100 and start kebab removal. The government at the moment has tried a well-intentioned but kinda limp-dick approach for integration and that *might* help to some extent but I doubt it'll make much of a difference at this point.
Getting rid of this toxic fear of being labelled a wacist for speaking out against criminals simply because they are muslims would be a good start (cough, Rotherham, cough).

When I ban them, yeah. But as a general rule of thumb, if someone earns a heavy enough ban that it gets rid of them I'm not sorry to see them go.
Name one person (can't be Flee) you'd be sorry to see go
I'm sorry to see most people go really, it's easier to name the ones I wouldn't be sorry to see go but that would be a little impolite.
Haha, that's pathetic. Your defense against normies does work though. As long as you don't clearly express dissatisfaction towards something you're innocent. You'd be good in my book too if only you didn't express dissatisfaction at all, or at least not to this level. That's not how a mod should act
It's a little bit simpler than that, mods have to remain somewhat impartial (at least when it comes to moderation) so it's not a good idea to give any potential ammo to would-be troublemakers and agitators so that they can cry about modbias more.
That's a pretty warped way of seeing things, my friend. Sociopathic is the closest word that describes your way of thinking.
Me too thanks
Y'know what? Entitled is a better word. This site isn't so overflowing with members that you can act like you're weeding out the bad members from the good members. Your position is there to accomodate the few users that are here. That's the reason why the rules have become so lax lately.
Except that's what we did, quite a long time ago now.
Certain users constantly broke the rules, spammed and flamed relentlessly. They are now gone and I don't miss them, I certainly don't miss every thread in serious being a shitfest of a flamewar or having to clean up meatspin gifs every other day.
The rules are laxer lately because the people who are still here can generally be trusted to know where the boundaries are, we don't need to keep laying into people with hammers and warnings just to keep things passably civil anymore.
I know you did, a long time ago. There was kind of a focus on that inbetween the lines.
They did, didn't they? Those were the times in terms of quality. Sure there was garbage, but there were also gems. atm were kinda getting a constant flow of iron, which is meh.
Uh, no, the rules are not laxer because people can be trusted. I remember being banned for stupid reasons. Those reasons weren't really there for a reason, they were just there as an excuse to ban people like me; unwanted people. The rules are lax because you don't hate the users on here atm.
You also can't afford to ban people over trivial things anymore due to the low amount of users
We still get some good moments, I think as school eases off and E3 fires up there will be a bit more life injected. Actually they are, we don't have to nanny the forum anymore. We still keep an eye on things but people know what is gonna get them banned these days. The bans you got way back when were mostly for Spam IIRC, which you did do quite frequently. You weren't unwanted by any means, it was just required to make sure threads by more than one poster were on the front page. The rules are lax because as I've said, people behave these days. We've never really hated anyone on here, disliked a few certainly but that's never been cause for us to ban them. Very often the dislike comes from us having to keep dealing with their shit. And we don't, It's been a long time since anyone was given a major ban (or any ban even) and I think Kupo was the last one to get a slap. A few warnings and a few locks, maybe the odd serious 1-day ban here and there. It's pretty calm compared to a year or so ago, which is quite pleasant really.

It's pretty neat, but there aren't really any derelicts nearby.
It is interesting when you come across ruins in the forest though, what was once a house or a fancy garden is now just leaf-litter, trees and the odd stone outline.
I love finding stuff like that. The next best thing to that is castles, which there are a lot of here in Wales
Welsh castles are great, I had a wonderful time as a kid at cilgerran battering the shite out of my brothers with a wooden sword. Pretty sure we had a nice re-enactment of the battle of bosworth in just about every major castle in england and wales.

you can write off the other candidates as being incompetent, but cruz was legitimately dangerous, along with fiorina
how so

Your sense of memetic humour is just not metastasised enough to understand the comedy behind it.

Case in point.
How's a normal person drinking water normally meme worthy?
You like drinking mineral water? The early spring water was a little too new wave for my taste. But when mineral water came out in '83, I think it really came into it's own, commercially and artistically. The whole glass has a clear, crisp taste, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the refreshment a big boost. It's been compared to coconut water, but I think mineral water has a far more bitter, cynical sense of taste. In '87, Britvic released this; Drench!, their most accomplished water. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip To Be Hydrated". A song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of drinking water and the importance of trends. It's also a personal statement about the brand itself.

Some people get tired and leave, some for a few months and some for good. Other people disappear for a while and then come back because of IRL stuff.
Korra might be back someday, or she might not.

It's not football without a pack of gooners beating each other bloody before the match.
how do you know they're gooners?
Because they are having a fight over football?
?
Football hooligans have fights over football.
Oh. My confusion was over "gooners" which is a word specifically used to describe Arsenal F.C fans
Ohh huh It's always been a catchall term for hooligans in my family, I guess somewhere down the line someone was not a fan of arsenal then lol

Depends but generally I get through a normal sized book a week.
Some go faster than others naturally, certain authors have a very fluid style that you can read for hours on end whilst others can be a bit like picking up a textbook. I managed to read the order of the phoenix the day it came out though, that was quite a binge.

But that's not what he asked of them He said how would you keep your man, not fornicate with them. Their answer is typical meatbag degeneracy and that's amusing to me.
by bringing up vaginas, he puts sex in their head--he makes it seem like he's talking about fornication, and not just staying in the relationship
if he had said something like "how would you keep your man if you couldn't cook," i doubt most women would say "sex"
it's just typical comedian slip-of-the-tongue sleight of hand "HA GOTCHA" garbage
And humans are predictable creatures, you put groin mashing into their head and it's all they think of. That's amusing to me.

I oppose it because it desecrates the divine machine.
But as an aside, that O'Neal fellow's banter game is on point.
i mean, not really
"how sex with man if no vagina" "i have butt" "hahaha u jus reduced urself to object"
there are funny anti-feminist jokes but that's one of the weakest i've ever seen
