« on: September 15, 2014, 05:47:32 PM »
Facebook comments are worse. They're always either people tagging their friends or posting some generic meme.
At least on YouTube you get the odd person who actually has their head screwed on right. On Facebook, the "intelligent" people are often only that by comparison to the countless retards that comment there.
All I see on youtube comments anymore is people sharing the video on Google+, usually just repeating the name, inserting some stupid-yet-supposed-to-be-witty pun about, or personal relation to the video.
but every now and then in the youtube comments section you come across some golden conversations

2,3,4, and 5 should be on a rotation together! Then it would be like you have DID!

That would be my preferred option but I don't know how to do eet.

Of 1846?

Yeah, laissez-faire. Corn Laws were fucking killer.

'Fucking killer' do you mean that in a positive manner?
Naw m80

corn laws literally killed

Indeed they did ._.

But how would laissez-faire help a starving population with massive crop failure?
If the demand for food from merchants goes through the roof, won't they simply raise their prices?

How would you have tackled the Irish Potato Famine?

(Protip, the only 100% incorrect answer involves the term 'laissez-faire' and the name Trevellyan.)

Eh, you gives a fuck? I'm tired so if you want me to give a shit you'd better shift you midlands arse down here and take them from me

>implying all of southern england isn't just kent

It might as well be, it's homogenous as hell ._.
I couldn't tell when I was in Kent or Sussex, everyone talked like they were from Downton fecking Abbey and dressed like it was still the 1950s.

Where do you think your loved ones go when they die?
Where does the operating system of a computer go when you set it on fire?

This sounds like a job for... Techpriest Psychologist!
*spins around and puts on a red hooded cloak*

The machine-spirits rise from the body of the deceased machine and join the noosphere where they commune with the other machine-spirits of other deceased technologies. When a cogitator reaches the end of it's life cycle the appropriate rites must be read and a small amount of sanctified gasoline burned to appease it's cogs and speed it's passing into the noosphere.

If I ever get into power, I'll scrap Personal Statements all together ._.

The most loathesome piece of writing I've ever had the misfortune to read, you cannot be modest and you have to sound like either a complete tool or an utter twat.

I count myself lucky for not actually having to do one myself <.<
