I'm weird. I like gory action shooty stuffs and serious emotional stuffs too.
As long as the plot and characters are well written I'm happy.
Gooooood Alrighty, well here are the ones off the top of my head. Black Lagoon - Fucking amazing. Perfect mix of gory fighting/shooting, over the top action (but not retard tier OTT), great characters (and development) and some lighthearted/deadly serious storylines. One of them in particular is still the darkest thing I've ever seen in fiction, I won't do spoilers obviously but it might be worse for me considering that I studied the real life stuff that it's based on :l Jormungand - Lighter hearted, shootier, modern Black Lagoon. Lots of likeable characters/badassery and a great story too. It's more of one cohesive storyline than black lagoon which focuses on several arcs (In succession though) I thoroughly enjoyed this one too, if Black Lagoon didn't come first then this would probably steal Number one for glorious shooty carnage e.e Then you have Hellsing (Ultimate in particular) which has more blood than Khorne could ever hope to drink. Vampires, Badassery abound, Brilliantly OTT screamy priests and just glorious from start to finish. Another - Final Destination: Animu edition. Lots of wonderful and hilarious horror deaths.
