COULDNT QUITE REMEMBER MUCH ABOUT THE SITE. THE ONLY THREAD I WAS HERE FOR WAS LOCKED. ALL I SAW WAS I COULDNT POST.
It was locked because of the arguments raging in it.
However if you have simply returned here to cause trouble for those who enjoy it here, then don't expect your stay to last too long.
HEY MAN WHAT HAPPENED TO US BEING BROS? IF I WAS JUST HERE TO TROLL I WOULDNT BE IN THIS THREAD
he's a mod now and can't put up w/ shit stirring simply because he likes someone.
Indeed, despite all the joking about mod bias - people causing shit on here means I have to clean it up. So regardless of how much I like a user, if they cause me a headache then psyduck is going to get nasty <______<

Well I'm pleased to hear that, I would be fairly disappointed if you had just returned to cause problems. If you are going to stick around for more than that, then welcome back >.>

So now, I have to choose.
Gulag or Death camp? Hmmmmm choices choices.
Something scenic.
Oooh, I know of this wonderful north korean labour camp that is set in the picturesque deforested, grey and barren wilderness that is left after they have eaten all of the grass because they have no food. You should enjoy it there <.<

Reminder that drinking sea-water is bad for your health as it contains excessively high concentrations of salts. Please cut back on the levels of intake everyone.

Alrighty, thanks for getting back on topic everyone <.<

Alrighty, let's get back on topic or make a new thread thank you very much.
Any further satan roleplay will be moved to a new thread.
This is Satan himself, fellow child.
And even satan has to play by the rules, so I'm going to move this stuff to a new thread where you can play the prince of darkness there.

'European policymakers must directly support European innovation, and particularly new start-ups, in order to foster their potential." I mean, I get where they are coming from but there hasn't been a single search engine that has even come close to being as good as Google.
IIRC Bing is actually just as good, but Google is just more of a household name so people use it more. Still an American service though so it's not "directly supporting European innovation".
Ehhh This is just personal preference, but I'm not really a fan of bing >.> It's not bad but it's just not quite... there... Indeed, I don't like that sort of thinking though <.< It's slowing down globalisation >.>

It would be very unlikely for me to ever riot over something, and it's only slightly more likely that I would ever bother protesting something either.
If you did, the Inquisition would have your metal ass.
Well there is that too <.< But I'd be far more likely to be at home enjoying footage of the police whaling on hippies than to be out in the streets with them >.>

You should watch Earthlings. I dare you to watch it.
What is it about?
It's not for the fainthearted <.< Or those of an unhinged disposition like myself >.>
It documents the ordinary practices of industries that utilise animals, not just bits of exaggerated cruelty either - the regular shit that goes on.

Sheeeeeeeit, sounds like its worth a watch.

Well if you don't want an animal to die for you, good luck living. Even gathering raw materials kills animals. So even if you don't eat meat, you're still contributing to death just by being alive.
Well duh, you can't avoid things like that. You can however make choices to lessen the impact your life has on the lives of other creatures. I don't eat meat, so the number of creatures that die to sustain my life is lowered significantly. If you go by this average statistic [Average number consumed per American lifetime: 21,000] and whilst I don't eat like a yank that's the average number of any kind of animal consumed in one yank lifetime. Whilst it's not quite a cut and dry number, for obvious reasons that's still a hell of a lot of lives ended for one person's food. So my choice is to not eat meat, and thus reduce that number at least. That doesn't account for the thousands more that die as a result of human existence (building/farming/mining/deforestation) but it's a start and I'm not of the opinion that just because you already kill things it's perfectly alright to kill thousands more. As for being "arsey" I can't understand people declining the food, if their tastebuds tell them it's nice. Not everyone is bound by impulses, cake tastes nice and so does pie but if you eat them at every opportunity then you'll turn into a yank. Most of what you'll eat is made for humans to eat, you might as well not let the dumb animal's "sacrifice" be in vain, or the work of the people producing the products. This relates to the point I made up there^ And it's not really a sacrifice when your entire existence is just waiting to be killed to feed other creatures. Zebras don't sacrifice themselves to the lions, the lions kill the zebra and eat it. On the sunject of animals being bred... I see this every year. I don't agree with it at all, but I'm trying to point out that unless you want to spend resources taking care of the "for consumption" livestock, you might as well mercy kill them. And if you're going that far, why not just use them for what they're being made? So stop breeding them, that's the simplest answer to that conundrum. Except the market demand for meat exists so they will continue to be bred. Reducing the number bred even by a tiny fraction is enough for me, that's by not buying meat and having a cumulative effect of not purchasing meat over the course of a lifetime. Pheasents are bred for hunting and released into the world. They don't know where to go, they don't know what to do. They're dumb fucks because they've never known anything but captivity and being fed by people. If they don't get killed by hunters, dogs, cats, foxes or cars, they starve to death because they don't know how to forage properly, because they were bred in an environment where that wasn't necessary. And I think that is wrong. You can't tell me cow bred for generations, purposely for human consumption, have the same rights as wild deer, or some other animal of the same size. Considering how few rights are actually afforded to other creatures, of course I can't tell you. It's still a living creature though, cows have a shitty existence but that doesn't make them less of a living creature than a deer that has a more carefree one.

Although if you don't eat any meat for ideological purposes then I can still respect that <.<

It's so funny to not want to kill things to eat them
xdddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd
halp my sides
nigga you kill things when you use hand sanitizer
Just because an animal is cute and fuzzy doesn't make it's life any more valuable
Bacteria =/= Multicellular organisms.
And cattle/pigs/sheep aren't exactly cute and fuzzy, but they are still living things. They have a developed nervous system and can feel pain/fear, even if they aren't the most intelligent creatures that doesn't make it alright to eat them in my book.
I really don't give two shits if other people want to eat meat, I'm not going to give anyone grief for eating a bacon sandwich.
Now now, you leave bacon out of this.

It's so funny to let the domesticated animals bred as food to run free with no understanding how to take care of themselves properly.
bred as food And that is where my issue lies. I don't want an animal to die for my dinner, there are other things I can eat which means it doesn't have to. It's as simple as that, quite why people get so arsey over another human declining to eat another creature still evades me.
