Two threads have raised the question, so I'm just looking for your thoughts on the matter.
Do you think satire should be allowed in the serious board?

Because if half of the shit that went on in that thread had occurred on the serious board then there would have been at least three people kicked between the legs <_________<
Except it was the flood where the rules aren't as stringent sooooo ya, just a lock.

My vote goes to the battle in the middle of Fate/Zero.
The one with Caster, Sabre, Lancer, Archer, Rider and Bezerker having a gigantic bongarong on the bay <.< I'll see if I can find a video of it.

It seems interesting, especially because it incorporates a way to actually get some physical activity out of playing games, while still having it be an FPS. It is not that Nintendo Wii stuff. It seems impractical though, who is going to want to spend the large amount of money this is inevitably going to cost, and who would actually have room for such a device?
It does seem quite niche, but it also seems a little more robust than the nintendo stuff. Like the wiifit board thing, if you jumped up and down on that I suspect it would begin to break quite quickly regardless of your actual mass.
If I had the money to get one, I probably would <.<
Even if you don't use it for things like FPS games, something like skyrim for example or fallout 3. The immersion would be wonderful, right up until the ghouls come swarming and you tear the headset off >______>
Using it for Fallout 3 sounds intriguing. People play video games in their bedrooms though, and some have their consoles in their living room. I highly doubt most people would have the space for this thing.
Yeah <.< Chances are if you can afford to spend that sort of money on an accessory then you'll have enough space to put it in your house somewhere lol <.<

I either turn into a Techpriest with randomised emotions, kaiki or an all seeing eye.
It could be worse. I would prefer it to be the techpriest but I shall edit in a note of what result I got when this is posted.
Great, miserable techpriest. Could be worse though, I could have got the technopriest ;_;

Praise the Omnissiah!
OPEC sure is backfiring now, perhaps this will make Alternative fuels seem a little more viable if oil/petrol is going to start being worth less and less <.<
What? OPEC isn't backfiring at all everything is working out the way they want it to. And if anything low oil prices means bad for alternative fuels.
Uhhh, they are getting less money for their oil. When I'm pretty sure OPEC existed to do price fixing to prop up nations who built their economies on oil. If oil companies stop making such outrageous amounts of money from oil, then perhaps they will look into other ways of screwing over the consumer a la alternative fuels. Probably not but meh.
Even if all that happens is the price of fuel decreasing like this, it might help boost a few economies when the consumers are able to spend less on petrol and more on other goods/actually going out shopping etc.
It's not going to hurt their multi billion company at all. They can afford to lose a few, if they were actually concerned about losing a lot of money they would not let oil slip to $40 a barrel. They're challenging U.S shale oil companies with these low prices hoping to drive them out of business. Which so far is working since layoffs are already in the works, it's like a long term investment for OPEC.
Shale oil, as in fracking?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shale_oil
No it's an unconventional oil supply that hasn't had much extraction because it's very hard to do. The shale oil industry has only started picking up recently because of dwindling conventional oil reserves and OPEC is trying to keep a shale oil boom from happening.
Ahh, well that's not really too bad then <.< Either way I shall be enjoying the lower fuel prices while they last >.>

How is this a bad thing?
It's a natural impulse to want to kill and harm people, to set fire to things and to otherwise pillage, plunder and pilfer. Suppression of your baser urges is a good thing.
