What is?
That a brightly coloured cartoon stands out more than say an ordinary photograph?

You are born to wibble with the weaboos, you don't choose to.
It's still a sinful life choice etc etc, and you go to hell because it says so in the quran. 11823

If people are having personal problems then they should walk away from the computer and deal with real life issues.I snipped it out because it unfortunately disclosed several details about users who may not have wished that to have happened. It wasn't anything malign at all, but I'm just erring on the side of caution here. Playing it safe and removing it >.>You didn't snip it?Seriously, it's a forum...Snip for emergency discussion >_______> And as for walking away from the computer, that works for people being mean on facebook or some inane crap like that. For the people with serious problems IRL, walking away and 'dealing with them' isn't as simple as it sounds. It's a mixture of escapism and ugh the word escapes me but there is a proper term for it. One of the points I made earlier, is that some people have issues that cannot simply be resolved on their own and require the attention of a professional. Some can, and they eventually do, but not everyone. 11825

Everyone is broken on some level, most people function well enough though and that's really the ultimate aim of helping anyone.
To use a biological example, You have a piece of living human flesh, say their arm. You take a knife and cut about 1cm into it for about 5 cm distance. If you take the knife out, it'll heal over in time and you'll be left with a scar. The tissue isn't perfect but it's functional again. If you left the blade in there, it wouldn't heal and if it did it would be opened up as soon as the knife is moved. To turn it back to a mental point, everyone has scars. Some people have open wounds though, with all kinds of shit festering inside of it. Helping them clean it out and letting it seal up properly is the aim of the game. When it comes to repairing each other though, that's a trickier one. For being a supportive friend, that's something most people can do. Fixing some of the more serious problems that people face, that's something that professionals need to do. It's not a 'psychs only club' because I'm not in that category, I've said it to the point of nausea but I think most people know that I'm just a student but someday I will be qualified to help people properly. For now, I do the best with what I know because to use an example of someone unrelated to the forum - What they had to put up with in their head all the time was awful, really fething messed up. They couldn't see a proper Psychologist about it because of financial issues but I did my best to help them figure out a way to handle it from what I've either learned in my textbooks or what I was given as treatment when I was lucky enough to see a shrink about the fucked up shit in my head. They used it, it worked and voila - one year down the line they aren't troubled by that stuff anymore. What I'm getting at though, is that some people can't really be repaired by kindness and people being nice on a forum. There are things that can be fixed and helped by that, sure. But there are some problems that really need someone qualified to handle it, but because of the shitty nature of access to the services it's not really an option for a lot of people. So, by all means, help each other as much as you can >.> I'd just advise people to remember there are limits to what can be achieved with first aid as opposed to surgery <.< 11830

The internet is serious business though.
And shitposting is subject to the official Haram/Halal judgement list, if it's found to be in violation of islamic scriptures then you get a nice little disgustedmuslimman.jpeg and a lock. If it's halal then depending on how lazy I am feeling at the time you may either get a post of certified halal [pleasedmuslimman.png] or it's ignored. Allah akbar everyone. 11832

That would be because it's one of the longest established rites of the martian priesthood.

Considering how they were indoctrinated from an early age to practically worship the Imperial family and that 'death before dishonour' was a good idea™
Let alone the almost clockwork levels of obedience to one's elders/superiors found in grorious nippon. So yeah, I have sympathy for the grunts used as pawns for the ambitions of the leaders. If you want an example of why I don't have a lot of sympathy for those above the rank of 'cannon fodder' then take a look at Unit 731's lovely work. It makes Mengele seem like a pussy. 11840

Sounds like Rush on Battlefield.
The minute one team gets a bit demoralised, it turns into a rapefest. I've played enough to know when the team is wavering and usually unless you can do something insane like arm an MCOM solo they all just pussy out and go to hide at the back of the map with Sniper Rifles and mortars. That and the awful map balance doesn't help. 11842

You could tell it wasn't going to end well when the shooting lasted more than a few seconds.
It wouldn't surprise me if in the coming days/months it turns out that they botched it. From the sounds of it though, the 'cleric' was a right piece of work so I doubt it would have ended well either way. 11844
