Hehe, someday perhaps >.>
You better hire me then.
Well I think my line of work will be slightly different to Ekman's >.> (Dr. Lightman) but it's certainly a field I would consider if I ever get sick of being a Shrink <.<

And bloody hell... 20/30 oz Sodas... jesus...
Not like you have to drink it in one sitting. I'll drive over to Popeyes if I'm at school and need something to eat and my drink will last me for about 2 hours
It's not about how long it takes you to chug it, it's that you are drinking damn near on a litre of fizzy pop. That's just... ugh, so much bloody sugar ._.
Then make water taste better
checkmate robot
Water tastes fine, if you corrupt your tastebuds with sugar all day then of course water will taste bad. If ya still don't like water, then tea will do. That's good for you, provided you don't ram it with sugar as well. Green Tea, Fruit Tea, Herbal Tea, Breakfast Tea, Earl Grey, Assam, Chai... so many delicious flavours to choose from, and yet you choose... sugary.

*Just as keikaku'd.
Spoiler That's a joke from a bad sub of Death Note, where they didn't actually insert "plan" in English and just put a translators note on the top of the screen instead. :/
GG lol

I wish death note had of been less days-of-our-livesy, then I might have got into it.
I wish it didn't just go downhill after episode 25. It just absolutely tanks and finishes with a really shitty ending. On the plus side, it spawned stuff like this. I'd say it's still very good, but the way the show goes after episode 25... eugh.

It might be rude, but I still think the best line in the entire show is this.

The addiction forms around the nicotine, it's not just the dosage of nicotine >.> Habits, smells, actions, places. All of it ties in together <.<
Obviously it's the nicotine that is addictive, but yeah, the addiction to cigarettes includes the cigarette <_<

In Bungie? No. They fired marty and density turned out to be bleugh. They are jewing to the max with a £20 expansion that would make EA proud and I expect things will only get worse with DeeJ's sickly PR bollocks being used to sugarcoat the ramrod that is used to sodomise the customer.
In 343? Not really. Halo 4 was... ehh... but training wheels. They kind of derped with the MCC at launch but I don't hold that against them because 4 games on one disc is ambitious as hell >.> I'm indifferent to Halo 5, if it turns out to be shite then that's the final nail in the coffin for Halo (in my book anyway).
There aren't many studios that I have any faith left in, just ones that I kind of like/wait for their next game to come out.

No moreso than playing Halo makes you shoot up schools.
It's the correlation =/= causation shit once again, people who are in the sort of criminal culture described will find rap music appealing. But just because 20 Pence says that he's gonna put a bullet in any honkey with a mullet, doesn't mean that the average person who listens to that music is suddenly going to go out and cap a few rednecks.
Watching violent films doesn't make you violent. Playing violent games doesn't make you a school shooter. Reading Mein Kampfy Chair doesn't make you a nazi. and listening to rap doesn't make you go out and start snorting coke, shooting white people and beating up hookers.
It doesn't, but it can influence a person. There exists a big difference; when I learned about Communism in school, it influenced me to become one for many years
Money can influence people to either do good, or to do bad Power can influence people to do good, or to do bad Intelligence can influence a people to do good, or to do bad
I went to schools that were majority black and can safely say the lyrics of mainstream rap, such as sex, crime, and drugs, can have a level of influence on youth. These rappers are the same role models these kids look up to and when they see them doing crime and talking about it, that will in turn have an influence
Sure, just about everything influences people.
I would say that having a shitty home environment, no father figure, no job prospects and being shot like animals in the street by the police and being third class citizens has more of an influence than some brainless twonk going 'nigganigganigganigga' into a mic.
You are however right about people using them as rolemodels, which is tied into not having a father figure/having something worse than no dad as a father.
So /thread then? After all, Meta stated the specific word of influence
Eh, I don't like to /thread but pretty much <.<

There are five or so reports, two of which concern that post and the others do not >.>
As I said in a previous thread, the reports that concern something breaking the rules are always acted upon. The ones that don't contain anything currently are closed and left in the log, reporting them over and over again doesn't actually do anything.
Challenger's post doesn't break the rules, is he winding you up/laughing at you? Sure. Is that against the rules? It is not.
I'll say it nice and plainly, if you have an issue with people calling you dingo then that's perfectly fine. It will be dealt with as other attacks are. What I don't find conducive to getting anything done, is when this contrary attitude towards it is applied where it's okay if anyone but X does it, then if Y says it that counts too.
So ya, clear that up once and for all would you? It would make our jobs a lot easier.

What would you want more? The chat logs?
I will say, however, that the moderation system genuinely needs more transparency.
No, not that much. The moderation team still needs to remain "above" the community as it were.
I think a good start would be more communication between the users and the moderators. Such as a "We've got your report, and have done X or Y", or "We've got your report and the whole team is considering it".
I don't know about the volume of reports, which could make such a thing difficult. That could, however, be remedied by either a larger moderation team, a more standardised system of assessment and punishment and a more inclusive role for the monitors. The first one, of course, is least desirable as you want to maintain the ratio at something reasonable, although expanding the remit of monitors to act as communicators on behalf of the ninjas - sort of like press secretaries - could be a potential solution.
We shouldn't have access to the chat logs, though.
Maybe replace the default report functionality with a ticket system? Then reports would be separate from PM's and reports could be closed when they've been dealt with.
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/?mod=2491
I think that's kind of how it works on the mods end at least, we have a seperate area for the report queue and you can close them when they are dealt with.
Doesn't work anything like that on our end, though.
Hmm yeah <.<

I'd stop being a homosexual if I were you.

Hmm, as for the letting people know I usually keep on top of that about their reports. It depends on the time of day/how busy things are though. Or if someone is chimping the shrek out in a thread it's usually obvious when the reports have been acted on >.> However... the idea of using monitors as little press secretaries is amusing a good one actually. They can relay the information for the mods if the mods are dealing with an outbreak of shrektal torsion.

if you haven't received a response, chances are, the mods don't agree with your grievances
at that point, if you care enough, you can question them personally
Actually in this case it's because I was taking a shower <_<
As much as I'd like to be hardwired into Sep7agon 24/7, I can't >.> Yet.
Flee was here though.
Who is also an incredibly busy law student doing his finals >.> Either way, I'm online now and I've gone over the reports.
