This is exactly why I have a dislike for vegetarians. They always seem to have a holier-than-thou attitude about them.
I don't <.< It's just a matter of mutual respect, if someone doesn't try to rub bacon in my face (My trog brother tried) then I won't have a problem with them. Nor will I start proselytising to the masses about how they are killing the planet >.>

Normally stepping in dogshit once is lesson enough <.<
Or were you wearing shoes?
I was wearing my sperry's, and this dog pooped EVERYWHERE. I mean OMG it's a poop machine. I kept it outside exclusively. But I let it in for 5 minutes and it had already took a leak on the floor >______>
it is a puppy....so.........
Ah well if it's a puppy then you can't hold it against it <.< Especially if it's moving house, it's quite an upheaval for a little doge >.>

Harry Harlow was a terrible person.
To the pit of despair with you.
It's funny just how absurd it is, that this chap was allowed to make all kinds of devices to torture monkeys to 'see if it screwed them up' ._.
Really, like I said in thread I made a while back in serious, while the experiments he did are grossly unethical by our standards today. The knowledge that was also gained regarding attachment and how it plays into development was incredibly helpful. Especially seeing as how back then, the belief that showing too much affection to your kids would be detrimental towards them was pretty widespread.
Yeah >.> It really was invaluable, even if the means were as haram as it gets <.<

Harry Harlow was a terrible person.
It was all of the greater good.
If he used humans instead of monkeys, then the research data would at least be directly translateable to models of meatbag infant attachment. Instead you just have to kind of guess that a traumatised capuchin will be the same as a traumatised toddler. .____________________. Spoiler Also weaboo space commie pls go

Chandler: So the american medical association is wrong in your opinion? Peter: Well if the american medical association says it is a disease then yes, of course they are wrong. 'Addiction isn't real, it's just a matter of willpower' About 8 minutes in, Baroness Meacher explains it all very nice and clearly. Then the slimeball continues to wobble his chin. Now discussion points 1. What do you think is the best way to tackle addiction? From both a legal and a medical perspective (In terms of policy) Or do you think that it's not the state's responsibility to try to treat addicts? 2. What is your opinion on this eejit? Totally not a loaded question by the way, but the title is something of a clue as to what I think of Peter Hitchens.

A few years ago I was vehemently against it, nowadays I see the point/purpose to it happening.
If a marriage has failed, it's pointless and harmful to force two people who hate each other to remain tied together. If there are children, the divorce should just be done as quickly as possible with both parents remaining involved in the child's life if possible/a good idea.
A broken home is a broken home regardless of the marital status of the two parents. Single parent families aren't inherently bad, but the statistics do show that kids from nuclear families have a better chance of turning out alright <.<

Oh, I was dead fucking serious, though. Please remain on-topic, Mr. Moderator.
I'm sure you were, which is why it was removed. And I'm going to take a more passive role for this thread, it's not something I care enough about to debate myself but I would actually like to see it debated and not just turn into a shitfest. So I'll just be lurking here, for now.

It tasted very similar to the painkillers I was trying to phase out, so I guess that might be why <.<

I'm fine with calling you a he or she, just, I believe it's a disorder.
Well, some of the stuff associated with it is a disorder. Simply being trans isn't a disorder.
Saying you're another gender isn't.. Exactly normal. Disorder or not, I think it is.
Yes, it's unusual and uncommon. Doesn't mean it's a disorder, though.
I don't know man, Psychology class brought a lot of information to me
Same here, and I had the same problem when the shit that's in the textbooks was incompatible with the real world <.< It might be technically a disorder, but someone who is perfectly happy with themselves after they've changed isn't mentally ill. IIRC the disorder arises from the mental illness caused by having the wrong mind/body combo and not just from having a mismatched identity <.< Two examples Person X and Person Y. Person X is biologically female (XX) but is transgender and identifies as male. Person Y is biologically male (XY) but is transgender and identifies as female. Person X goes through the system/treatment/therapies/surgery and is now 'male'. They don't have any distress, problems, abuse, illness arising from it and all goes well. Person Y goes through the same process but is suffering from depression/other problems directly attributable to them being transgender. They have to seek professional help about it to overcome the disorder and eventually come through fine in the same manner as X. It might be a disorder on the books, but Person X functions perfectly fine and doesn't suffer from any serious issues as a result of the transition. Do they have a disorder? Or an illness? <.< I don't think so >.> Person Y does, because it has caused them grief and they needed treatment >.> The other thing to note is that the trouble with labelling someone as having a disorder would imply that there is something wrong with them that needs correcting. When that's not necessarily the case <.< Or the correcting is to simply change their body to suit their mind. Because all the previous times that scientists/doctors/quacks have tried to change someone's mind rather than their physical form have ended... badly... >.>

So...do what the rest of us do? Don't do stuff you can't afford.
What a stupidly capricious and facile thing to say. The morale and mental fortitude of our military is, quite literally, a matter of national security.
The idea that if we spent less on recreation we could raise wages is equally facile; soldiers are fucking expensive as it is. It's probably cheaper to build them their own collective golf courses than individually pay them enough so they can afford 18 holes.
How much is it to play golf on base, anyway?
It's funny, because these are exactly the arguments that the more conservative crowd tells poor people.

I have a Colosseum Bonus Disk Jirachi (lvl 5) and a Faraway Island Mew (lvl 30), both cloned and untouched, if someone would like to make an offer.
I'm looking for Legendaries, primarily, and I obviously don't have a problem with clones.
What legendaries do you need? I have pretty much all of them now, most of them are duplicates as well <.< I'd love to get a Mew >.>

Just a reminder, you aren't allowed to call Elegiac a dingo. Even if he now thinks he is a chicken.
Shut up, dingo.

As you are now a rooster/chicken, I'm confused as to why dingo is still offensive to you.
It's a completely different species.
Sooooo... did you read my message with the report? Why did we bother to sort this out and simplify it if nothing's going to happen now? Where do we go from here? Don't chop logic with me, do your job.
Icy is on mobile, I've read the reports in full and acted on them.

In my eyes, if you have a dick you're a man.
I will call you a man. Not to piss you off or anything petty like that. Its because you LITERALLY ARE a man.
So say that they had surgery to remove the crown jewels, what would you then call them?
XX or XY
How petty.
