Hmm, we're doing pretty good down here in Aus with minimal guns. I think the last shooting "massacre" we had was in 2002 that resulted in 2 deaths. The last before that was in 1996 I'm pretty sure.
When was your last shooting massacre, 'Merica?
port aurthur was a hoax

What do you mean?

35 people were shot dead. Sounds like a massacre to me. Regardless of who did it.
its a hoax in regard to who the shooter was and it wasn't Bryant.

The subject of conversation wasn't who executed the massacre, it was the massacre itself. It happened. 35 people lost their lives from being shot.

Chicken is the best.
Chicken tastes good in anything. Except raw. Don't do that.

Can we get dick pics of batch instead of nasty girl n00dz?

Uhh, no. I'm the only girl worthy enough for that sight.
So who wins OP?

No one wins yet, everyone is listing things I've already seen.

Any genres you like?

Action, Supernatural, Romance, Psychological, Horror. I'm pretty much open to anything but hentai and sports, really. (Don't understand how an anime about sport could be interesting enough for me to watch 24+ episodes of.

No one is winning so far. Not into hentai, guys. I'm a chick. A straight chick, even. Don't desire to see naked cartoon girls. o_e

I've seen all but the erotic stuff. Excluding  or 3 anime, not particularly into car or sports anime so I generally give them a miss.

I've now finished Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu.

Maybe I should make a list of all the anime I've seen one day.... Hmm....

Jump on crunchy roll and do the work yourself.

I've scrolled through the top 200 rated on crunchy roll and nothing caught my interest.
I'm afraid you can't be helped, have you seen older anime?

Yeah. Trying Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu now.

Assistance required looking for anime to watch.
Needs to be interesting, not drawn out for ten million episodes.

No kill la kill, no boku no pico.

I've seen a fair amount of anime so think outside mainstream.

Serious / Re: Suitable Punishment for an 11 year old Murderer?
« on: October 06, 2015, 05:56:53 PM »
I'm curious how the hell the kid got to the gun.

I saw in another article that he went inside to retrieve it from an unlocked closet.
I agree 100% that the parents should be charged as well. If not for assisting in the murder then slap them with the highest sentence for having the gun not locked away in a safe.

an extensive rehab program seems like the most logical answer to me

I'm thinking full psych testing, rehabilitation and have an eye kept of him for the rest of his life, pretty much. If an 11 year old doesn't understand the concept of wrong and right, then they're missing some vital social cues.

Serious / Suitable Punishment for an 11 year old Murderer?
« on: October 06, 2015, 06:26:27 AM »
Stumbled upon this article and was wondering what would be the "accepted" punishment for 1st degree murder for an 11 year old child? (Or any minor for that matter.)
Wouldn't locking the kid away for years in Juvenile Detention not create more social problems and antisocial behaviour when the child is released?
What do you think would be a suitable sentence? Are there any other cases of child murderers? :(

not wanting to raise a child has so little to do with cowardice

wanting to raise a child is probably some form of insanity
you have--NO IDEA, NONE AT ALL--what you are getting yourself into

I had an asshole "father" who ran away and turned to drugs and alcohol when my mother fell pregnant with me. Not a cent in child support. He called every 3 or 4 years, didn't know how old I was, wished me a happy 21st on my 15th birthday. Didn't see him except for once. When I was 5 years old at a park. Mum and him arranged to meet up so he could finally meet his daughter. And all I wanted to do was play with the ducks. Mum called me over saying "Talk to your dad." And I legit said to their faces "He's not my father." and ran back to duckies. I still stand by my 5 year old self. He's not my father. My mother did all the hard work to get me where I am now. The only part my father had in my upbringing was to be an example of what NOT to do.
I'll be damned if I ever have a deadbeat "partner" that won't man up and take responsibility when it's called for.-

270
If I were to fall pregnant and my partner decided he didn't want to be a father, first of all, I'd kick him in the nuts. Then I would cut him out of mine and my childs life entirely. No visits, no contact, nothing. He'd be a stranger.
I would tell the child if they were to ask about their father, who their father is and let them make the choice to see them when they're old enough and if they so wish. But I wouldn't leave my child with a "stranger".
so like

you're pure evil, then

Hey man, it's all in or nothing. If a guy decides not to be a father, he gets exactly what he wants.
The rest of his life alone in his basement with a box full of tissues and no loving family. :P
