Current shoes are getting old (even though I've loved them and looked after them for 4 years and they still look good) but I think I should look for something new.

Spoiler
Thats my style of shoe, basically what my old pair looks like, maybe I want something the same, maybe I was a change. Throw shoes at me

I think difficulty should apply to enemies as well. STALKER and Metro for example.
This. Three shots to the face and he ain't dead, one shot to my pinky toe and Im six feet under? Garbage

This fucking monster

Make sure you use it two handed though because of the overhead chop. That shit is beastly at closing distance.

It's pretty useless 1-handing it unless there's multiple dudes in front of you that you can clear in one sweep.
Never intend to one hand. Only will ever be for shields and  parry shenanigans then back to 2H

The sad part is that there are people who are unironically defending Nintendo trying to sell $80 fucking cardboard with some shovelware thrown in.
It feels like they were coming up with April Fools jokes and unironically thought one of them was a good idea.
When is April in Japan?

Alright, fought through the castle in the Forest of Giants.  Decided to equip a shield for when I have to deal with 3-4 enemies. Dodging is fine if hitboxes arent fucked, and those Hollow Knights are destination fucked.

Dealt with the Last Giant with reletive ease. Smack the feet, Dont ever block and basically dodge roll into him when he attacks.

Now the Pursuer. I wasnt going to cheese this. BUT THOSE FUCKING HITBOXES. I tired parrying him and landing a few hits only to get destroyed in one blow. So I saved myself the effort and turn on my casul. Entered the fog gate, parried the fucker in front of one of the ballisters, and fire away. Managed to stun lock him and in 5 seconds he was dead.

Next stop would have been the tower of flame. But I needed something first. Went to the Shaded Woods and reunited with those wonderful shaded cunts that you cant lock on to. Met with Only Head Fred (Vangarl) and got my Glorious Ultra Great Sword. Will post picks soon. But fuck it Im Cloud Strife now yo.

i for one love the pursuers phantom sword that can hit you even though you're like 20 miles away from his swing

Nah son. The best part is when he uses his Noble Phantasm

Gae Bull
Straight Sword that Pierces Game Design

Clasification: Anti-Hitbox
Rank: D

It reverses causality and grabs you with his sword when he clearly missed and drains your humanity AND deals a metric fuckton of damage AND potential toss you off the map.
Speaking of which, lets fuck him up (get fucked up countless times)

So made it right before the Pursuer in DS2....fuck this game

I like how DS1 is, alright theres a few enemies, take em out.

DS2 is hey heres a few enemies, get to the top of a ramp and 3 more spawn behind you, theres 4 archers shooting at you where you cant reach and one tanky enemy that one shots you and you have to pick at it for ages to even scratch.

This is gunna be a slog.

Also running no shield shitter. Just dodging...and mind you Im finding out how bad some of these hitboxes are.

To add to this, they never ask "and why do you want this job"

Its a stupid question and everyone knows it.

What do they ask for in the job interview for a fast food restaurant? Your general traits and stuff?
Usually availability and team skills. First few shifts usually seeing how quick theu work, they try to weed out dordlers.

Fellow gamer here, just stopping buy to recommend that you all buy Nioh Complete Edition on Steam :)
Tempted, but Ive heard it does a DS2 and looses a lot of steam half way through. Any truth to that?

STATUS UPDATE:

Have made my way to the first bell with relative ease, under 10 deaths so far. Decided that only 1 plunge attack would suffice for the Taurus Demon, and my rusty ass nearly got myself killed right near the end. That thin wall is the only thing that makes the fight have anything remotely resembling a challenge, it's easy to get stuck on a bit of rubble or roll right into it.

Grabbed the Claymore as soon as I could, and began pumping all of my souls into improving it with Andre. Got my shit handed to me multiple times by that asshole with the UGS up on the tower before I called it quits. I'll return to kick his ass later. Managed to backstab the boar twice in a row, lucky me.

The +4 Claymore absolutely demolished everyone in the Undead Parish. 2-shotting Balder Knights is always good, and the Gargoyles didn't fare much better either. I picked up Havel's ring after getting to Darkroot, so know I'm rocking the full Elite Knight set with the Grass Crest shield. I'm pretty much sorted for the rest of the game now, I think. Next stop is Pinwheel.
Does the game feel like a challenge any more? I love it to bits but I know the game inside and out. Just feels each time I boot it up I just write out a shopping list and then we're good.

Might actually fire up DS2 and try and finish that, couldnt finish that or DS3.

Where are you exactly?
I dont remember names but

DS2: That Castle with the heavy rain and level up bae is outside
DS3: After that bossfight with the tree and the ground falls beneath you. Which honestly Im not that far in.

Mind you I found Dark Souls and Bloodborne much more interesting and finished those both, but I really like DS2 but lost interest at that point, gunna see if I can light that spark again, and DS3 I just got burnt out and thought it was a clunky Bloodborne, the enemies are just far too mobile for what the player can actually do...usually making dodging the better option to guarding, but the player is given a much worse dodge to that in Bloodborne.
