"YouTube has turned to their community to identify which videos potentially violate their Community Guidelines. If a viewer flags a video that they think violates the TOS and Community Guidelines then YouTube staff will take a look and, if it is a violation, they’ll take the video down.
That doesn`t make any sense. There are thousands, if not more, videos which get flagged everyday and they have average 10 min length (after youtube implemented adpocalypse). So to review those, you have to have either a giant team of people (which you need to pay) or you have to implement "more reviewed videos - more salary" mechanism that just make your team to skim through all videos, but that just will make things even worse.
I don't think it's that nonsensical. Youtube will soon be employing 10,000 fully paid moderators that do nothing but review reports. To me, that constitutes as a "pretty giant team of people". :p
How do you prove they've actually hired ten thousand people? Plus even if they did, it doesn't cost much to hire out a building full of Indians and tell them to delete everything with a gun in it, because they are not hiring ten thousand fully paid Americans.

It pretty much is guaranteed. The algorithm based methods GoogleTube uses always fucks over any videos that seem even vaguely related to whatever is being targeted.
Do we know if it will be algorithms deciding this though? You can also still appeal.
'Guns are bad' is the media Boogieman at the moment, so of course theyre going to mass ban and not case by case, once again, thinking about that money. They want to be family friendly and show some asshat with a dead guy, instead of showing your average joe how to reload his gun properly.

Double edged sword man, seeing a gun in action could be the best way to see if it matches a persons needs, be it for defence or hunting, and why shouldnt people have access to information on how to rebuild a gun they purchased, if you want someone to keep their gun well maintained, so it doesnt jam or backfire why shouldnt someone have access to that information? Millions of law abiding gun owners are once again getting punished to the causes of a few, and yet again playing the guardian for parents who should be doing their job properly. Youtube built itself on being a community board for people to share things, it's too coped up in it's money lust and forgetting about what actually got it there in the first place, the people. Won't be long before people find somewhere else.

Welcome to the fucking party sugar Ive been dying inside for years, its called work for a reason and if you actually find a job you can completely enjoy then thank fuck someone finally found it. No one wants to work, the world fucking sucks because it revolves around money but you just need to accept that. And honestly dealing with work colleagues, grin and fucking bear dude, you got worklife and you have your actual life. Ive always kept conversation with colleagues to a basic level, you be friendly and leave your opinions to the side. If they spout theirs, keep it quiet and eventually theyll get whats coming. If you get to a higher level you can tell them to keep their banter to a minimum (thats what Ive done), but you gotta remember you have to work with these people. Find something that pays well and enjoy your life after working hours. Also maybe try and find some competition in your work, a drive perhaps? I just keep climbing the ladder because my job would get boring otherwise, its fucking stressful but it isnt boring.
