What else could "Play it first on PS4" mean? If FF7 was truly a PS4 console exclusive, they would say "Playstation 4 exlusive" instead of neutering their marketing impact by saying "Play it a few months earlier on this console!"
Well I may as well just answer this one. Cloud was in Smash, bonds are thus made between Sony and Nintendo, Nintendo are developing a new console. If you would assume anything, then it would go to this new console, which would account for why there is no news on what else FF7 would be on, because the actual console hasn't been announced yet per say.
You have to agree that makes a lot more sense.
To be honest I only just remembered that Nintendo we're a possibility in this myself, I'm pretty sure you two are the same.

Well I'm hoping Final Fantasy 15.....but it ain't confirmed to a date so I'll keep dreaming.
Confirmed for a 2016 release. Release date will be announced in March.
I remember when the game was announced as '13 Versus' it's been a long time, so I won't hold onto my hat until that confirmed date.

FF7 said from the get go back in June "Play it First on PS4" That doesn't mean it will be on Xbox, that's an assumption Titanfall advertised as Xbox Exclusive in the initial advertisements then also added a PC release and Tomb Raider was FIRSTLY advertised as an Xbox Exclusive then corrected to PS4 as timed very quickly. Now take that back to FF7, to not dominate sales in one way or another why have they not yet given full notice to customers that you can buy this game on either console? A Preorder page for an XB1 version on the EB games website isn't sufficient as things like this have been done in the past, as well as the fact they can't even confirm a release date for the Xbox copy if it does exist. I just assume it would be sensible from the get go to say "First on PS4, but you can also get it on Xbox a year later" or something like that. Because if you are right, it won't sell well on the Xbox by the time they announce it, which would be a very bad business mood. Lastly, I'm just trying to have a discussion guys, I don't care if it comes out on the Xbox, we're here on a forum to talk, lets just do that.

It doesnt really make a difference to me regardless, but for arguments sake it says 'first on PS4' it doesnt state neither PC nor XB1 so it could be either or both. But right now there is no evidence to confirm it is going on XB1 yet. Theres nothing really else to talk about on the situation bruh. It would make sense to release the game at its full potential on PC though I'll say that.

MS and Squeenix have been super buddy-buddy recently .
It isn't a PS exclusive anyway.
If it was "console exclusive" (meaning PS4 and PC) it would've said so, like Street Fighter V. Instead it said "Coming first on PlayStation 4", meaning that it's multiplat.
KH3, another Squeenix title, is releasing on Xbone.
There's no reason to believe that it won't.
I still dont know about 13, testing the system? But for everything else. I think people should just assume it will be, like FF15 which is said to be exclusive to PS4, no news yet but Sony being at the big game have enough to halt FF7 from going Xbone. Now Kingdom Hearts? Well that there has a Disney license, and Disney like their money so it is more then safe to assume they made that decision because of their rank and influence, as sony wouldn't be able to outbuy it from them, as well as keeping a nice relationship anyway.
