Until yesterday, everyone in the international community was laughing at this engine and its inventor, Roger Sawyer. It's called the EmDrive and everyone said it was impossible because it went against the laws of physics. But the fact is that the quantum vacuum plasma thruster works in the lab and scientists can't explain why.
Someone start making plans for colonization of the moon, now.

Basically it gives us the ability to have fuel-less engines in space, we would no longer be limited by fuel limitations in terms of space travel. We could keep them on and keep going faster and faster, a trip to mars could take a week instead of 6 months.

NASA doesnt know why it works, its troll science, but they were able to replicate it like the Chinese did. Its reality but we dont know why.

Ill give you a cookie if guess the anime reference correctly in the OP
Thats tough, I don't even know. I feel like a failure for not knowing, or maybe its just too vague.

Don't recognize it, whats the name?

From the trailers it seems like a visually good movie, but hows the story?

The Flood / Re: Do you eat the sunflower seed shell?

Sometimes, it doesn't bother me to chew it with the shell. I usually get lazy about I don't bother to remove the shell, granted I spit the shell out after eating the seed.

For those who can't help it sure, for those who could easily just eat healthy and do some exercise, not at all.

For some reason I was really hoping it was one of those hokey tabloid sites claiming that a ancient alien spaceship was found under WTC with some sort of conspiracy theory about how Muslims are agents of some sort of alien overlord that wants to collect all the relics of some ancient alien space war that happened over Earth.
This.

I sent a message to a user but it doesn't appear on within my messages.

You have to manually tick a check box that saves a copy to your sent messages.
Wish I knew that sooner, oh well at least the other person got the message.

How much experience do you have with creating outfits for cosplay?

Absolutely none. I've been reading various things on the Internet about it though.
Then the ODST probably wouldn't be the best choice, unless you have someone with experience helping you.

I have someone who has done it before helping.
Ah, then ODST, it will be tougher, but worth it if you can pull it off well.

Well he's making a HL Combine to wear. He said ODST would be better as its more immediately recognisable and requires less detail because of that.
I see, well good luck with that.

I'm sure there's another person thats qualified for the role, several people here are qualified. I won't throw my hat into the mix though, people just don't know enough about me to say if I would do it properly. That said the two present are doing a good job.

Serious / Re: Why do you believe in your religion?
« on: July 31, 2014, 05:55:40 PM »
I don't like the idea that some being makes the rules, as an individual I am able to decide my morale compass and other things based on how I'm raised and my experiences. I don't need anyone or anything to tell me that.

When its someone that harasses you both IRL and online then I could see why it could be a problem. If its some random individual, then they should just be ignored.
