The Flood / Re: Why is being sensitive frowned upon in today's society?
« on: September 03, 2015, 07:49:03 PM »
I didn't imply shit—I stated my thoughts clearly and succinctly.
You're saying I am using some card as a means to an end. Beats me man, that's a head scratcher. You can call me dumb and just not explain if you want, it's your brain cells (or lack thereof).

It isn't.

Using your sensitivity as a means to an end, like as a jail-free card from criticism, is frowned upon. As it should be.
You expect me to know what you're implying, but I don't.

The Flood / Why is being sensitive frowned upon in today's society?
« on: September 03, 2015, 07:43:43 PM »
We all seem to be so obsessed with making people feel bad, shaming people into being just like everyone else. There's so much shame and misery that is involved with being a human being. It's funny how sometimes you just wish that you could get away from all of it, but people will always find a way to remind you that you have to push yourself to be a certain way. I think to me being sensitive means having a very low tolerance for putting up with other people's shit.

I kind of wonder what it must be like to be in the mind of another person, like the typical user of this forum. I always got the feeling that people who's brains aren't sensitive just don't have any sense of self awareness. You can parrot all the things others have shamed you for to reinforce your own self imposed rules, because of the fear that others inflicted on you. To you though you just see that as a way of being and you don't really question what is going on. To a sensitive person like me all of these things are actually cause for concern. It's so contrary to everything you all believe, but it's honestly true and I'm not going to say the rest.

Just wanted to give you all an update. My hand feels fine now. It's not really noticeable unless my fingers touch something warm. I do feel it slightly when my hand is just doing normal hand things, but not a whole lot.

You lost your credibility with me as a healthy eater.

You know what I ate today?

I woke up and I went to a cafe, where I had an egg on freshly made bread, with sun dried tomatoes, goat cheese, and spinach, with a side of walnuts, blueberries, strawberries, bananas, and a cup of tea.

For lunch and dinner you know what I had? I had a sweet potato, with some black beans, chopped up a small avocado on it as well. Then for dinner I had non fat greek yogurt, with some more green beans and a few prunes.

Your credibility as a healthy eater is ZERO!
Damn

Kill yourself
Hey buddy, this is a warning. Next spontaneous act of assholery and I will block you. Just wanted to give you a heads up, I know that you will automatically try to follow up with another assault.

HOLY FUCK! I thought the taurus was hard as balls. Now I am on to the forest. First of all I am making no fucking experience points, I haven't leveled up my character in fucking forever. There's some items that you fucking buy and they don't show up in your inventory. I payed XP for some arrows and nothing fucking happened. I bought a war pick or whatever it's called (it just looks like a scythe) and that showed up in my inventory. These fucking enemies are getting ridiculously hard lol. Holy fucking shit is this game ever had as nails. Take all of the most difficult video game bosses and most challenging video game moments I have ever played and put them all into one game. I gotta admit, I am seriously fucking sucked into this game, it's crazy.

The Flood / Re: APPLE BOTTOM JEANS
« on: September 03, 2015, 07:22:41 PM »
I know a way we can improve these lyrics

There was an attractive bodacious young African American woman who was sporting some fine Apple Bottom brand Jeans and Fur Boots. The entire club couldn't help but notice this vibrant young woman. Basking in the attention of the other club goers, she danced a dance that can only be described as sexy. Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted this attractive young woman, with her baggy sweat pants and Rebock shoes, the ones with the straps. I decided to give her a playful slap on the ass, to which she started dancing that dance once more.

Just finished Dopethrone and Come My Fanatics. I may as well listen to Witchcult Today. It's great music to play games to.
I haven't listened to THE WIZAHD in a long ass time. Just not into Stoner much anymore, I dunno. Still love their aesthetic they got goin tho, wish more bands had that same atmosphere.
Electric wizard doesn't seem like one of those stupid stoner metal bands that's just into stoner metal because LOL WEED BRO.
No, they aren't, which is why I like them as opposed to other Stoner bands.  Regardless I just don't get into them a whole lot.
Dopethrone is a masterpiece, as I'm sure you and I would both agree. then you have come my fanatics, the album that came before dopethrone. That one is actually heavy as fuck and I recommend you listen to it after listening to dopethrone to gain a better appreciation. to me witchcult today has some really great riffs, so it works as good background music when I am trying to play a video game or something. I dunno. I was never the guy who would go list off electric wizard as one of my favorite bands or something, but I gotta give them a lot of credit because although they kind of stick to their guns a bit much, they do what the do extremely fucking well. They give doom metal a good name.

Tbh you guys, I am thinking my hand is fine. I don't think the water was hot enough to do serious damage. It wasn't boiling all the way, it was just beginning to make a tiny whistle. Plus my hand feels okay, besides the obvious burning. I think I will be fine.

>.<

you're never supposed to but ice on a burn!!!!!

You're supposed to run it under luke warm water,

also hand and feet burns are the most dangerous because they can get infected easily.

What does it look lik now that it has been almost 20 minutes?
Some red spots

Is there visible tissue damage that look like tiny holes?
Yes, the maggot infestation has already begun too.

If it's numb or discoloured, you should seek medical attention ASAP, otherwise, there's not too much to worry about, asides from the risk of infection.

Don't use ice or freezing water, either. Cooling it too quickly causes damage. It would be better to soak the burn in lukewarm water for 10-30 mins.
oh fuck I held it in ice for like 20 minutes.

I was going to pour myself some tea and I ended up spilling it on my hand. It's not like, burned with skin falling off and shit like that, my hand just... burns. I took whatever ice I have in my ice tray and put it in a bag on my fingers. Should I be worried? I doubt this is the kind of thing you go to the hospital for, maybe I could get a kiss to feel better about doing something so stupid? lol

Okay so I am officially going to get it. Only one answer remains, should I get it for PC or should I get it for Xbox 360 or PS3?
What did you end up getting it for, btw? General consensus is:

PS3 is a no go unless you live in Japan because its community is dead.

Xbox 360 has the most active / best PVP community still, so it's a very popular choice.

PC offers the best single player experience due to 60fps and best performance, but lacks in the multiplayer department.
PC
I hope you have the mod and controller to actually make it playable. The port was awful.
Someone told me that I should get some sort of mod for it, but I have a controller and the game seems to be working fine by itself.

Why are your retards saying coffee? Is it a joke? Coffee increases your anxiety if anything.
I can see through their bullshit dude. I switched to tea months ago. Now I only drink some green tea early in the day and herbal tea later in the day or vice versa.

-Exposure to whatever gives you anxiety kills it. This is how I've pretty much rid myself of most anxiety
-Meditation
-confidence in yourself helps with anxiety in dealing with other people

Anxiety can be good though. The best thing Ive done is changing my view on it to help push me to preform better or whatever. Look up "TED talk stress"

Also things that make mine worse in the long run are:
-marijuana
-Nonexposure to things. It can buiod back up
-CAFFEINE! Caffeine kills me, when i was taking 600mg of caffeine a day through preworkouts i would have terrible anxiety just being on the computer
Thanks and fuck caffeine for sure.

Meditation.
I tried this for like 15 minutes sitting on my bed completely still, but I still moved a little. It felt like I was sitting there for a lot longer. I gotta look up a wiki how on how to do it the proper way. I decided stop because I was sitting on my bed and the soreness of my back and legs were getting to me. I was sitting cross legged with my back straight.
