I was thinking about why it is so difficult to have conversations about politics with other people, and it seems like there's a couple out of possibly hundreds or infinite reasons why it may be difficult. People, for one, often hold different concepts of ideas based on what they have heard from the sources they follow. A person's entire concept of reality may be different from person to person, so when someone talks about the same concept they may actually be talking about two separate things. Secondly, there is simply not enough time or patience between either party to go in depth about why they hold the beliefs that they do. Most people, strangely enough don't even seem interested in having the conversation, because the conversation is uncomfortable and can possibly put you at odds with another political person.

It is strange though, that people take their political points of view so personally. I've noticed a pattern with people, that they tend to see concepts or things as though they were the things themselves. A person may follow a political cause, or religion, or listen to certain music, or value a certain sports team even, and what happens is that thing starts to become a part of themselves. What is an enigma to me is why people conflate themselves with things which are not themselves, and no one can have an honest and objective discussion about any subject. Perhaps the lack of ability to have an objective subject lies in what I described before, which is that it is not possible to be objective because everyone's perspective on the world is subjective. Even if everyone's views were subjective, that does not explain why people get angry when presented with another person's beliefs.

It is baffling to me, and frustrating, that this is the case. People are so territorial and defensive about what they believe, that a lot of times certain views are even taboo to talk about. One such idea would be revolutionary leftism. Perhaps it's not a good idea to bring up to the average person that you would like the worker to be paid the value of their labor, and the surplus labor value to go back to the worker instead of the CEO and shareholder. End this endless cycle of wage slavery and capitalist growth, create a symbiotic economy. Even that is more of an explanation than most people are willing to listen to.

Perhaps it's easy to over complicate things. Everyone wants their point of view to be the dominant world view, or they want people who they admire to be in charge if they are not confident in themselves. A person could either want to be a leader or a follower of some sort, whether they lead themselves or others. In a world where essentially everyone wants what they personally see as the best system, it can be easy to see how others would get very easily frustrated when someone espouses views that contradict their own. Perhaps someone who sees the system of capitalism that we live in right now as a beneficial system for all except the people who they suppose are just lazy (even given minimum wage not being a living wage and college debt bring crippling for a lot of people), would see a leftist view as intruding on people's ability to profit off their fellow wo/m/an.

Perhaps what is really going on when different political views clash, is an innate sense of competition between human beings. Or, alternatively, perhaps it's a mechanism that was developed by human beings so that group mentality is more likely to prevail. Human beings evolved as a tribal species, after all. Perhaps it was beneficial to human beings for each other to agree on things rather than disagree, and what this frustration with other people's beliefs is (as opposed to having the ability to have a detached, logical conversation with one another) is actually an inborn defense mechanism against having tribe destroying disagreements with one another.

However, if this is really the case then on a large scale, it could never work. It seems that human beings should have staid in small tribes. It would seem that this ubiquitous tribalism is also the result of wars fought with other tribes. People in their own tribe are trying to defend their beliefs just as they would defend that of their tribe, and perhaps evolutionarily the tribe was the catalyst of this conflation of personal beliefs and the tribal instinct to protect ones beliefs because a common belief is what holds a tribe together. Human beings were probably never meant to live in a society like the ones that we've constructed, every societal construct is an experiment and perhaps politics itself conflicts with the nature of the human being itself.

Human beings have been tossed into this world, filled with tribe dividing politics, and they have been separated from their small tribe of a couple dozen people tens of thousands of years ago, and the only reason that these politics exist is because human beings now live in communities of not dozens, but millions. In this cluster fuck of a society, how could political conversations ever be comfortable and productive across civilization?

Everyone should try to put a magnifying glass up to their thoughts. I realize that one of the things that you need to develop when you have an anxious thought is a defense system against negative thoughts to keep you from feeling anxious. You have to have sort of a counter negativity, and that is what keeps you from the long drives of higher negativity.

But the interesting thing is that it’s not a linear path with negativity, you don’t just counter a thought with a positive thought and then it goes away. There’s many tricks and dimensions with negativity that it plays on you. When you start focusing on one thought trying to counter it, you realize that the act of thinking about the thought is a thought itself. Then you realize that the more you think, there’s a never ending chain of thoughts related to the thought you’re thinking. So only way to not think of this meta chain is to stop thinking about your thoughts.

The more you start trying to realize everything the more magnified and intense your consciousness has to work to start realizing all of these thoughts, as if realizing everything that is happening all at once will somehow set you free from all of the struggles of the world all at once. However this method of thinking is only the key to madness. Perhaps that is what true madness is, is trying to analyze everything and give it an absolute meaning, when really all you are doing is creating another thought.

Then you listen to Jimi Hendrix and he says “hang on and don’t think about bad things”, you realize that wherever you take your mind is where you lead it. If you think down in the dumps then that is where your mind will take you. But if you take Jimi Hendrix advice and you fly on the back of a dragonfly and don’t think about bad things, then that is where it will take you. But the thing is, it’s like there’s a second person inside of you who you have to convince to follow your thoughts, because there’s not a complete control over one’s mind. That person has to be persuaded.

For every thought that you do control of, there is an alter thought. I think it is very likely that emotions are like an alter consciousness, the shadow of your thinking consciousness which gives you the illusion of will. You have to listen to what the emotions want and then give it something with your intellect. It is always this back and forth, but really the emotions are just a petulant child, never satisfied.

But if it is like child, then it is not a matter of keeping the happy, you are the kid. You have to keep yourself happy. It's like having a kid but also being the kid. Having to look after yourself, perhaps you have to be the parent that your parents instilled in you, or however close an approximation to such a feet.

When you’re a little kid, until you have a negative experience with the world, you just expect that the world will be friendly to you. If a little kid is upset by the world then it means that the world must have hurt them in some way. Then the kid just starts to expect that the world will be shitty like that, to the point where every slight thing that happens seems like the onset of madness, whether paranoia that something will happen outside of your control or fear of madness. Really it is just the child who was taught to fear the world and to fear their own consciousness.

But also the people around you are like a reflection of your own consciousness, because you would not know yourself if you did not know the world around you. Emmanuel Kant would say that you need to experience the world through the senses, and you would not know yourself if you did not know the a-priori concepts of time and space, because you are embodied in time and space. You would not know that you are conscious without another person to let you know that you are an individual being.

What relationship you embody with those outside of you is analogous to the relationship you form with their reflection inside of you. The reflection of those outside of you has formed how you treat the inside of yourself and subsequently the reflection the perceived person inside of you. If you attack another you are attacking a reflection of that other person that you have projected inside of yourself, based on how that other person treated you. They are just another thought that you have constructed, and so are you.

As a matter of fact, the consciousness could not have know anything if it were trapped in a world where it cannot experience space and time, it would have no concept of itself if it did not have the reflections of which to project back onto the world. Just as your eyes take in light, your brain projects the world back onto your mind, as if it were out there in front of you. Everything appears to expand outward in front of you, but really it is a projection that is condensed inside of your head.

Once again, the foolish left has proven itself to be nothing more than a bunch of emotional crybabies, who value feelings more than the facts. I cannot help but laugh as I try to imagine what it must be like to experience the world from such an under developed consciousness.

So, I was on the bus going home from school, and this fat ogre looking bitch comes waddling into the bus. She sits down towards the front of the bus, I'm sitting towards the middle of the bus up a couple steps on a railing overlooking the middle exit door. So I am almost at my final stop and I start gathering up my stuff and it seems to think that I'm going to get out of my chair. I decide that I'm not going to get out of my chair and it just stands there and then the person behind me gets up and goes to another seat so it can sit down. It probably needs two seats to accommodate it's enormous ass.

Why do you think all the greatest scientists, authors, and musicians are men?
