You are so stupid it hurts. If you know where to look you can get FLAC versions of anything online. That stated, are you aware of what happens when you convert a music file from WAV to MP3? Essentially all it does is cut down higher and lower frequencies that are not especially important to the mix. You arent going to be able to tell the difference unless you are listening to said songs on a more expensive sound system. Which may or may not be the case for you, but it definitely is not for the majority of music listeners.

People who think they are supporting what ever artists CD's they are buying in Walmart, Target, or wherever else, are sadly unaware of the state of the modern music industry. This is coming from someone who is working on getting into said industry. If you truly want to support an artist, give donations, or go to their concerts and buy merch. Anything else goes through the label before it gets to the band, and more often than not, its a minor amount that ends up in the artists pockets. This is why its a huge deal for them to be able to tour.
Now, for top 40 artists, its a completely different deal. Labels treat them much more fairly.
But they are rich already, so pirating a lossless version of their latest manifesto to the cliche'ness of modern pop wont hurt them anyway.
