I read that. I maybe wrongly didn't put much stock in that bit because I figured I could disregard medically required consumption of caffeine as rare enough to leave out of consideration and that you were just kind of being difficult. You can add 'when not required for medical purposes' to whatever argument I made above If you're still not satisfied with that, I think you've defined fun/recreational way too narrowly and don't think the distinction you're trying to make is meaningful

Most people wouldn't call chocolate a recreational drug or find it's consumption wrong, but you just told me caffeine was a recreational drug and it does have caffeine. 'Recreational drugs are okay if you're not addicted' isn't the claim you made ( may have misread your edit and you're now agreeing to eating chocolate being wrong, but I'm thinking probably not ) Re: getting high/distorting perception I generally use food and sleep to do this. I'm not just saying that to be pedantic, neither of those things is wrong a priori.
