yes. if you destroy it, it'll simply turn into hunks of junk that you can eventually put back together

(the first ability one works if someone hints towards wanting a gift, you can just randomly get a present. For the 2nd one, it has to at least be wrapped in order to see it. If it's just a regular box then you won't be able to)
