im taking ecology right now, and i have a project where i just have to snap photos of animals bugs plants etc and submit them to a website where other people identify them
i like to call it "pokemon go but in real life" cause it's like seeing if i can catch em all
it's actually really neat and like the first time ive actually enjoyed doing a project... it actually makes me wanna go out on a hike just to look for stuff, you know?
discuss things you enjoyed, much to your surprise!

so i got the guy who got blown up on twitter for making an "exaggerated jiggle physics" mod to give me a tutorial on how to reduce the jiggle physics to 0
hey guys, i changed my mind—mods are pretty cool after all

i am kinda excited to see these gen 4 remakes
diamond was my very first game so i have a soft spot for it
i hope they do bring modern QoL mechanics to the game though, like a dedicated item for HMs like what gen 7 did... lord knows sinnoh's HM usage was cancer
the legends game looks promising, but if the game really is open world, then i hope the world has stuff to, well, do. the wild area in sw/sh were a step in the right direction in terms of being open world, but the problem was that there was nothing to do in it

Gen IV probably has one of my least favorite dexes in the series, and for me, it honestly goes far beyond giving shitty-looking evolutions to older Pokémon. Look no further than stupid shit like Purugly, Wormadam, and Bronzong.
That said, I've had a lot of fun putting together a team that I'd actually have fun with in Shining Pearl.
I love all of these guys—and check out that color coordination. There's a few repeat types, I suppose, but I've never really seen a reason to give a shit about that outside of competitive. I'd also like to use a Vespiquen or a Gliscor, but that'll depend heavily on how accessible hidden abilities are going to be.
rip to making your own chatot cry

i didnt watch most of it because i had class
pyra/mythra is kinda cool i guess, ive never played the xeno games but i have seen lets plays of it
mario golf looks unironically fun, even though ive never played that series. that new mode where you run around looks really cool
skyward sword is whatever, i liked the game. not too surprised to see it ported over finally
ive never played outer wilds, but i made the "mistake" of watching my favorite vtuber play the whole game, soo yeah i kinda ruined it for myself (i CAN get the game for free on the xbox game pass, but that doesnt change the fact that i know everything about the game already)

i hate the way math classes are taught far more than i hate math itself
history bores the ever-loving shit out of me, and to this day represents the biggest lacuna in my education
we had a lot of history nerds on this forum, which has always mystified me
im taking calculus right now (which is absolute bullshit because i took it under the quarter system, but since my uni converted to semesters, i now suddenly have to take more of calc) and being online one day of the week for an hour doesnt help much i am very slow when it comes to math and need a lot of guidance, so when i have class for one hour a week and then thrown into the homework by myself, welllll i find history super fascinating but i totally get why one would hate it

speaking of cars from the dinosaur age, a neighbor a few houses down has a pristine-looking car from the 1950s (?)
yall know what kinda car it is?
i dont care about cars at all, but even i can appreciate old stuff
I think that's an Oldsmobile? I have no clue honestly but from that angle it looks like an Oldsmobile Ninety Eight
wait a minute, it might not be a chrysler after some snooping around, i found this car that looks strikingly similar dodge coronet? i swear i saw the chrysler logo though
