The entire Central Valley (besides Sacramento) being Red in the 2024 election is shocking to me. Usually its just Kern, Tulare, and Kings counties that are known for being Republican. The further north you go, the more Democrat pro counties you encounter. Would never expect shitholes like Fresno, Manteca, Merced, and Stockton to flip.

it shocked me to learn that my home county, san bernardino, voted red. i checked the standings on tuesday night, and saw that it was very close, i think harris was only leading with, like, 52% or something, so i thought to myself dang that's closer than i imagined

next day it was red by a large margin and i was like what in the world

i talked to about it with a friend (who's a bit more into politics than i am) and he was like yeah SB is more red than you think

it genuinely baffled me

it's incredible that americans chose to vote for a criminal -- he shouldn't even been allowed to run again after all that nonsense

i read an article saying that he got lots of latino votes and as a latino myself, im like ????? hasn't this dude been saying mean things about us for years and yet yall still choose to vote for him?

guess most americans have a peanut brain -- not too surprising

alright halo wars 2 (basically) done. as far as the story and dlc are concerned, im all done

seeing the flood return in awakening the nightmare was pretty cool, only wish the dlc was longer tbh... maybe someday we'll see them again in a mainline game

id definitely be down for a halo wars 3 someday too. at first i didnt actually like hw2 that much compared to the original, but it grew on me

next up, gotham knights

i finally finished grinding forza motorsport. every FM ive played (4, 5 and now this one) always has that one achievement that takes a bajillion years to complete, but im glad to finally be done with this one

as for my next game, i think ill just work on halo wars 2. i recently (finally) finished the campaign, and bought the dlc so thatll take me a bit to do. it's sad that infinite never got campaign dlc , they coulda done so much more

i think these are all the games sitting in the backlog for now, all on xbox as i dont have anything i wanna play on the Switch right now

currently, im playing the most recent forza motorsport, just grinding cars for the last achievement i need, which is to get 30 cars to level 50. i currently have 24 so im sorta almost there, but each car takes about 3-4 hours to level all the way up, so at the same time im still ways away  :'(

the past few weeks have just been a sorta "clean up" time for me, as i finished up the last achievement i needed for Sonic Colors Ultimate (which was to basically play through the entire game in one sitting) and finished up the hardest difficultly achievement for Bioshock Infinite. after i finish up FM i can finally get to playing "new" games again

as for what game i wanna play next, im not entirely sure. it was sorta a toss up between persona 5, soul hackers 2, or fallout 4 but at the same time theyre all rpgs, which will take dozens and dozens of hours so im kinda iffy lmao
You can get two games going in parallel. An RPG and a short one. Cod 4, Alan Wake, RE4 you can knock these out in a weekend or two each.
Metro games are kind of longish if you don't rush them.
Stalker took me a while, but that's because I wanted to take the world in. I got addicted to them after some time.

thats true, i usually like to play one game at a time though, regardless of the length

funny story about stalker, a while back, i fell into the wikipedia rabbit hole and ended up reading about the chernobyl disaster, and thats when i learned the stalker games are based off that event. at the time, they were only on pc, then a few months later they came to xbox. if i like these games it'll be just in time for stalker 2

Witcher 1 was something.

The combat is glitchy at times and pretty boring, the writing is... mixed, great locations, unexpected nudity, slow walking speed, great variety of characters and enemies.
Its almost in the territory of "How did this get a sequel?"
Will move onto the second game later this year. Now its onto Unreal.

extremely late on the reply but are you interested in the (supposed? not sure if they've 100% confirmed it yet or not) witcher 1 remake? i am

ive heard that witcher 1 has aged quite poorly, so im definitely interested in trying it out. i loved witcher 3 and enjoyed the second one too

thanks for letting us know, i was using an ancient email address that i dont really use anymore

theres my idea to get traffic here. cheat, make it happen
Wait do you expect me to be your streamer personality? I'm many things, but I am not great at entertaining lol.

If someone else wants to stream and advertise I'd be fine with it. Maybe just wait for v3? I make progress every week and within 3-4 months it should be more or less ready.

oh no im not saying you have to be a streamer lol

i was just saying to use your magic powers to conjure up a streamer

21
so like i mentioned about anarchy streams, i was thinking she could do streams based off each of the 6 forums we have

most vtubers that i know of play video games anyways, so thats gaming covered

as for news, maybe once a week shed share all the news in the gaming/anime/etc industry

anarchy, like i mentioned would be reserved for the wacky ideas

the septagon forum is kinda like the "community" forum so she could stream with the help of chat/the forum itself, so like AMAs or "reviewing chat's X" or something

the only forums i cant really think for is serious and, ironically, the flood... talking about real world news (serious) will undoubtedly be controversial, and for flood, i got nothin

after 3 seconds of thinking, maybe serious doesnt have to be real world problems/news/issues. maybe it could be for more grounded topics, like life advice or money management or something like that

22
if youre unfamiliar with what a vtuber is, itโ€™s basically someone who streams under the guise of a โ€œvirtualโ€ avatar. anime characters (more specifically, anime girls) are the most popular, but im sure theres some wacky vtubers out there

so i propose we have a sep-chan promoting our dear forum

as for the design, she should have heptagon shaped glasses and have the sep7 logo somewhere, like a hair clip or broach or whatever. the main forums should be incorporated into the design too, so like the flood could be, like, a Totally-Not-Flood-Infection-Form charm or something

lore would be is that shes estranged from her mother and has been hanging on for years without much notice, but now shes making a debut as an idol! or something

also every once in a while sheโ€™d do an anarchy stream where she could do random stuff, whether it be raunchy or something totally unique and she could have a different model with an anon mask or something like that

of course no vtuber is complete without memberships, and luckily for us we already have the secondclass premium membership, so thats falllen right into place

theres my idea to get traffic here. cheat, make it happen

and if yall are thinking โ€œdamn youve put a lot thought into this huhโ€ then youd be absolutely right โ€” what not being able to sleep on a saturday night does to a mf

im not sure, as ive never played a ff game either, but i am kinda in the same boat as you... sorta

i bought ff7 (original) on xbox a while ago, havent gotten around to playing it though. it's easily the most iconic ff out there, but you'd have to ask someone who's actually played ff if 7 is a good place to start.

i think season 3 was right around the time nickelodeon made the stupid decision to move the show to online only, and the streaming was god awful so i actually didnt remember much of s3 until i rewatched it again on netflix a while back
