What the ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)  did you just ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ing say about me, you little ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in the ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)  Seals, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) , and I have over 300 confirmed ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) . I am trained in ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)  warfare and I’m the top ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)  in the entire ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)  armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) . I will wipe you the ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)  out with precision the likes of ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) , mark my ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ing words. You think you can get away with saying that ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)  to me over the Internet? Think again, ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) . As we speak I am contacting my secret network of ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)  across the web and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) , ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) . The ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)  that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You’re ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ing ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) , kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)  you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)  combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)  Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)  off the face of the internet, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ing ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) . But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) . I will ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)  fury all over you and you will drown in it. You’re ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ing ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) , kiddo.

Eh…

It's not often that a simple news article can change my views dramatically like this.

I'm still pro-choice, but if a fetus at 24 weeks looks like that, the limit needs to be significantly lower.

"I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called “Linux”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project. There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use.
Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine’s resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called “Linux” distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux."
Hey, it's what I'm learning about!

It's not a raid, it's a strike.
I would make a joke about telling you to go to #Density, but seeing as how that's what you're planning to do anyway, I'm not going to.

Not to be that guy, but planning raids against other forums are in fact not allowed here.

Septagon / Re: Why can't I embed an image in my signature?
« on: September 13, 2014, 04:50:43 PM »
Would it make threads load slower?
It makes things a bit cleaner here, I think, without the addition of images in signatures. They might impact page load times, yes, since signature capsules are set to a height of 0 instead of a display of 0.
Well, signatures are hidden for the most part, so it wouldn't affect anyone just reading through a thread.
They do pop up when you're giving karma, though, so I can understand the decision.

I don't like that second picture.

You can't call anything anarchist unless it lies literally along the very bottom of the chart.

Anyway, I'll do the test now.

You should add users' results to the OP, too.

Yeah, just like the test itself I'd guess it's at least a tad inaccurate.

Good idea to add to the OP, I'll do that.

As we haven't had one of these on this forum, I'd thought we could.

So according to this test, I'm an anarcho-socialist.
I can sort of subscribe to that in an ideological sense, but I don't think that an anarchistic society could function properly in reality.

I was wrong.

Destiny isn't the forum on the Internet with the highest population of autistic betas.
Makes sense, in a way. The people in #gaming are the ones who can't comprehend the purpose of having subforums.

I haven't been there in days, but last I checked it was full of Density posts and general stupidity.

Exercise. You don't have to run marathons every week, but spend about 20-40 minutes everyday moving, at least. Take walks, bike rides, those sort of things.

Oi, mate.

Whose fucking AMA is this?
ey m8 just becos deez buggers ask u the questions doesnt mean others cant answer as well

How can I get thinner besides not eating? I've plateaued.
Well, you could force yourself to throw up, swallow a tapeworm or just straight up use a butcher's knife on your fat fucking thighs you disgusting, obese cunt.
Noo I don't have fat thighs.  What I mean is that I want a thinner/in shape body, and a fuller face.  I look sickly in my cheeks, and eating isn't doing anything.

The Flood / "Jolene" slowed down.
« on: September 13, 2014, 10:51:59 AM »
Some of you have probably already seen this, since this video gained popularity and was spread around a few months ago, and was uploaded an even longer time ago, in 2010.

But I feel that it is worth sharing anyway. An LP record for Jolene, played at 33 rpm, makes it sound as if the song is performed by a man.

It's an interesting change in both how the song sounds, and of the story of the song.

What do you think about it?

Gaming / Re: Would it be worth buying a 3DS?
« on: September 13, 2014, 08:03:24 AM »
I'm considering buying a 2DS just for the Gen III remakes. Easily my favorite Pokemon games. Hoenn is so good!
That design, though...

Why not just buy a used 3DS XL (or just the regular 3DS) if you want to save money?
I'm not really too concerned with design, and the regular 3DS is still like $50 more than the 2DS.
It's not so much about the look as it is about the bumpers being so high up and far way from the rest of the buttons.
