I've found an article that's in English: http://www.goteborgdaily.se/first-mind-controlled-prosthesis
Quote The world’s first mind-controlled prosthetic arm has been developed at Chalmers and Sahlgrenska Hospital. With the robotic prosthesis, the patient can operate it like a real arm, reports Göteborgs-Posten. 5767

To accommodate for time zones, it'll start in about eight hours.
Quote Los Angeles (U.S.A. - California) Friday 10 October 2014, 12:00:00 PDT UTC-7 hours Team Fortress 2 was the most popular choice, so we'll play that, and possibly other games afterwards. Garry's Mod was a close second, so if anyone wants to stick around, we could probably play that as well. We don't have any dedicated servers, so we'll either have to find an empty server or have someone host the game on their PC. It's basically connection vs. privacy, as hosting locally would cause lag for the people who are further away. It would also help if everyone who wants to participate posted their Steam names here. I'm True Velox on Steam. 5771

Serious / The worlds first successfully implanted prosthetic arm« on: October 10, 2014, 05:59:57 AM »Magnus Niska from Sweden is the first person in the world who has been implanted with a prosthetic robotic arm. Up until now, all prosthetics has been removable and has had electrodes on the surface of the skin, causing operating difficulties in hot or cold environments. This is the first implanted arm with electrodes integrated directly into the muscles. They are currently testing tactile feedback with the arm, meaning that Niska will eventually be able to feel sensory input through the arm. Magnus Niska is has grown used to the prosthetic and views it as a part of his body, instead of just an accessory. Normal prosthetics need to be strapped to the body and is harder to control accurately, as the nerve signals sometimes have difficulties to go through. This is undoubtedly a big step for robotic prosthetics. 5778

And then disable origin every time before starting up the game. |
