Can't you just use your search engine of choice, and type in the keywords from the URL?
Yeah, I ended up doing that. But it's still more cumbersome than it should be, especially since it should be easy to make a pdf version with text.

When we have lectures, the teacher uses some fancy animated alternative to powerpoint.
At the end of each lecture, there's a list of extra study/reading material.
As we don't have the fancy program, the teacher makes the slides into pdf's for us to access if we want it.
The only problem is, the export process if weird in some way, and the pages are images, so the computer can't "see" the text.
And as such the LINKS AREN'T CLICKABLE
Do you know how annoying it is to type an entire web address to a unique article with all the numbers, underscores, question marks and whatnot? And to repeat that for five different articles?
I do.
I told him of this issue at the end of our last lecture, but sure enough the pdf of that only conists of images and no actual "text" as well.
(Obviously there is text, but it's part of the image)
