People are actually following the traffic laws here. Whenever I walk up to a road crossing as a pedestrian, the cars will stop to let me over. I'm used to having to wait until the fourth or fifth car, but here the cars often stop even if they would have been able to pass before I reached the crossing.
It feels nice, but kind of awkward, like I'm bothering these people by delaying them. Which it shouldn't be, but I'm feeling a bit guilty anyway.
I always make sure to wave and nod as a thank you, though.

OT, it started out really slow, in the swamp of having no job and no daily activity to go to.
Que a bunch of hassle and trouble with the job center and requirements and reports and yada yada yada
Then I was able to begin going to a job coach.
They weren't able to help me get a job (though I they were able to get a position more or less guaranteed in case I didn't get accepted into uni), but they did help me develop my character and mature quite a bit.
And then I got into uni, I had to sort out a bunch of stuff and pack my belongings which was quite the emotional process, and move down to where i am now.
And honestly? I'm really happy. The studies can be a bit stressful, but i'm happy.
I'm living on my own, I'm cooking my own food, doing my own laundry, and making my own payments (admittedly with student aid money and not a salary, but I still have the responsibility to actually make the payments entirely myself.
And for the first time in a long time, my confidence in myself and my abilities is really good. i'm no longer the teenager who lived with his mom and did nothing all day, I'm a young adult who is studying at a university.

Platypuses are a species of mammal that lays eggs.
What the
Echidnas are another example.
They also poop, pee, and lay eggs through the same opening.
the echidna also has a four-headed penis
Oh boy I don't like where this thread is going now.
Speaking of jontron, he just did a cover of Fireworks. I had no idea he could sing.

Platypuses are also venomous.
They've got toxic barbs on the back of their legs.
And they loo like duck beavers. Nature's strange, man.

Spiders are not insects.
Bananas are berries. And herbs. But not actually fruit, it appears.
The smaller the scorpion, the more venomous it generally is.
A flock of crows is called a murder.
Jesus wasn't born in the winter, but likely in the spring or summer. You know, when the herders were out herding? It wasn't until the Romans wanted to convert Germanic pagans to Christianity that they "moved" the date to December, to coincide with the pagan Yule celebrations.
The ancestors to whales and dolphins was land-dwelling creatures who returned to the oceans. The reason they look so similar to fish is that it's an optimal form for an aquatic creature.
Whales actually have their leg bones still, but they're hidden beneath their skin, muscles, and fat.
Similarly, humans still have remnants of tails. Really short ones.
A giraffe has the same amount of neck vertebrae as a human, despite having much longer necks.

Food in general sucks.
As a vegan, are you absolutely sure that you feel entitled to say that? I mean, you are missing out on three quarters of general foods. They might be tasty.
Or are you speaking wholly in the abstract?
Just because you have chosen not to support the meat industry doesn't mean that you're clueless to how non-vegan food tastes like. It's not like all knowledge on the quality of meat dishes is erased from your head the moment you choose a new lifestyle.

But to be serious, back when I lived in a household that consumed enough soda/fizzy water to return the bottles on a regular basis (you get money for doing that in sweden, to incentive recycling) I would often give the return money to a beggar if one sat outside the store. I guess that counts for something.

I also got some exciting mail today, I was planning to make a post later.
Oh really? Please talk more about yourself in someone else's post.
OT: No idea about the music, so here's a platitude. I especially like the last image's look.
Sorry for making what I thought would be a relevant comment. As the OP didn't have any text in it I couldn't come up with a better way to respond other than to relate it to myself, as I didn't recognize the album.
