I kind of look at it from a narrative standpoint. If a character relationship could be replaced with a heterosexual version and it has no effect on the story, there's no significance in it being a homosexual relationship, it's just there because it is. That's not meaningful or exciting.
Do I think that all universes need to have homophobic undertones? No, but if you want to make it anything more than being as generic and boring as any heterosexual relationship would be in its place, then it has to add some dynamic to the way characters interact with each other and the story.
What, same-sex romances can't be believable? Them not working as a straight relationship would make it extremely likely that it actually is tokenism, unless the writing is really good and the creator is trying to make some point through it. If a fictional relationship would work just as well as a straight or gay relationship, then why is the gay one tokenism? Surely if they're the same there's literally no difference except that the one that matches your own orientation is more easy to identify with.

With free higher education, more people will get educated which is good for the country.
Here in Sweden education is free and I'm currently taking one at a University. I wouldn't be able to do that otherwise without putting my family's economy at great risk.
Yeah but you have to import brown people to tax to sustain your government spending.

That's not a meme
Mass immigration of uneducated laborers is a major economic tactic for many wealthy European countries, and Sweden is the foremost example. It isn't solely because of higher education, but because of the large welfare state in general, as well as an aging native population that is failing to produce enough offspring to sustain this style of economy.
The government just likes to tell voters that it's about morality and sharing and diversity to make natives feel better about being replaced.
Even if that were to be true, why is immigration a negative thing? If it only brings economic gain as you say, then you'd only be opposed to it because you're a racist, plain and simple.

Games with lgbt aspects can hardly be assured to even give meaningful or interesting representations of them, let alone be exciting or fun games themselves, is what I'm saying.
And compromising your standards just for those lgbt situations is what encourages tokenism.
We (the curator) try to avoid games with tokenism and fetischism. As for whether it makes the games "exciting" or not: -Identifiable characters is a good enough positive in itself -There is no hinder for the games to be somehow lesser mechanically even when you ignore those aspects. The Mass Effect games feature LGBT characters (and are recommended by the curator), and they're some of the most loved games in the industry.

It's not about politics, and neither is it about only buying these games exclusively. It's about providing a simple way to find these games to a demographic that doesn't get much representation in media.
while it makes sense for life simulators like Sims and shit
dont really see why someone needs to relate to their character on every level of personality to experience the game.
it doesn't even need to be about mimicking their own lives. Maybe they enjoy stories that deal with LGBT issues.
This is something you have to opt-in to. So if you're not interested, it basically doesn't exist for you.
I'm not saying it's a problem I'm just saying it's obsessive to feel the desire to have something like your sexuality permeate all the media you consume. Just doesn't seem like something that should be big enough a deal that it that makes you more intrigued with a game.
it's a game stop obsessing about sex and gender reeeeeeee
Again, wanting it sometimes =/= obsessing over it and only consuming that kind of games

I can certainly enjoy games that are about straight characters, or doesn't touch on sexuality at all. But sometimes it's nice to have something that's a little bit more relatable for you personally. If you're not LGBT, or is and doesn't care, good for you. But then you can just ignore this curator.

There, I quoted you.
Can you explain the two?
Furry: Neko/Kemo (neko is cat ears specifically): One's an anthropomorphic (human-like) animal, the other's a human with animal ears.

I only buy games that align with my political beliefs via shoehorning.

Make me one?
I might give it a try tomorrow, it's kind of late where I'm at right now. Feel free to remind me if I forget it.
Edit: wait, you're not even eligible for a custom nameplate.
Eligible?
I think you have to have 3000 posts or something like that, and you only have about 500.

Samus is pretty much the only noteworthy Metroid character who would fit in with the rest of the roster
This bitch
I said noteworthy.
Also, we don't need another Dark Pit.
The "evil twin" trope in video games is such a terrible cliche.
The evil twin trope in everything, for that matter. Although I think Dark Pit was a nice spin on it as he isn't yet another mindless rage copycat version of the protagonist. They played him off as one when he first appeared, but then subverted it (to every other character's great surprise)
